I lived in Peckham for 2 years and they were the best 2 years of my life. I rented a flat on a council estate and I actually spoke to my neighbours and looked out for them

He is soooo good. I wish we could see him in more films. I suppose he loves the theatre and that’s where he works the most.

My Dad's road in Peckham was destroyed by the Blitz and I don't think diversity was one of the qualities that he loved about the area .

Hi, My name is Emine Özge Yıldız. I am from Turkey. Me and my few friends have our own theatre in Eskişehir/Turkey. We are a team that strives to bring different perspectives to theatre. I love Lucy Kirkwood's plays. I couldn't find the text of this play. If you have the play text to read and review the play, I would be happy if you could share it with me. Thanks for now.

Nice little doc. Be good to get the views of older people who always lived there. I was born in Camberwell but grew up in Peckham during the 70's, and 80s. I moved out about 10 years ago but still go there regularly. To me, other than old buildings coming down and new buildings going up, it's really not changed that much over the years - but something that's made a big difference to the area is the London Overground - connecting east London to south. But Peckham is still recognisable. It's always been a working class area. Always had the slightly run down feel about it but always had a lot of energy. and those characters you always see about the place. When I was growing up there, there always was people from different parts of the world living there as well as your native English people and it's the same now. People move out new people move in - that's just the way of thing in big cities - London never been any different. I think the guy at 1:50 expressed things quite well, I think there must be a lot of people that feel that way about it.

I wish the playwright would use her own name as “The Village Bike”, instead of the nickname for a Jewish name.

A powerful, essential and at times poetic exploration of how our perceptions are manipulated by the language of politicians, media outlets and social media. Unmissable. Should be on the National Curriculum to make all secondary school students aware of language and begin to think critically
