Thirdly, like others, I have returned to wool because it's indigenous, sustainable, biodegradable and has superior performance for some conditions. I have innovated an army jacshirt with smartphone pockets, a 2nd column of buttons for tighter, windproof fit, and collar button to keep my neck warm. I have innovated Merino balaclavas to fit on or below the chin, two sewn together for warmth and wind resistance. I have added a skirt to $200 Fjall Raven Ovik M 1/4 zipper, a chest and back panel from wool blankets. So it's a mid layer or outer layer. I added wool panels covering my complete torso to Hudson's Bay 70% wool sweaters. Wool is fantastic except the moths love to eat it! I have had what I thought were well sealed closets and cedar wardrobes full of wool suits and other wool garments get eaten full of holes several times. Now I keep my smaller wool collection sealed in bags, plastic containers and synthetic garment bags.

This winter I purchased a US Army Surplus wool shirt known as the OD 108 made 1951 never issued it still has the manufacturer's quality check stickers inside the pockets currently it's 27 degrees and I am very warm in it I have to Pendleton wool shirts by freezing them what about this jacket shirt and for $38 compare the three to four hundred Littleton wolves are asking for or Johnson Woolen Mills or Mackinaw wool
