Old swords surviving so long! Is it the Kami? The makers all seem to have a shrine with square paper hanging up. Shinto is maybe the last big animistic religion and I hear the Japanese speak as if objects are people. Animism is the belief that spirits may reside in anything from a tree to a mountain to a sword.
4 bodies. .....but they were condemned criminals :(

Funny that American people think he's Japanese and the Japanese calls him American. So he is not neither thing. Is the same when Americans call black people "African American" even if he wasn't born in Africa or his ancestors are all American. Americans also think the only them are white people, that there's no white outside US or England even if the person is of White European Portuguese, Spanish or Italian descent. People are so ignorant

I like Mike but as a person who collects and has made katana blades I hate that he talks about katana cutting machine gun barrels because it's not possible !
Interesting channel... too bad this episode with Mike is the only one with English subtitle and dialogue.

I lost it wen he told the story, of the katana cutting a rifle barrel during ww2, on that show, and he's again saying in this video that katana doesn't chip the edge cutting bone, he knows nothing about the metallurgic limits of a sword I love them but tamahagne have nothing on modern steel
