I remember watching the episode where he finally leaves the dumping ground forever to be with his mam, I couldn't even get through the whole scene where he says "I just want to go home" because that felt like the moment when something great is coming to a close. The moment where Mike says that one sentence, is that exact moment and it really fucking hurts to listen to, because he's the one who started the whole thing.

Damn respect for Mike, he is the best Care Worker, I think anyone would be so lucky to have him as a dad. He’s fair, and he cares; he keeps everyone even when he doesn’t think he can like Jody and Sasha and Alex and Ryan, and Tracey. If there were more people like Mike, the world would be a better place
