im very impressed by these aftermarket chinese stereos that are custom built, they're built quite rigid and work flawlessly, as someone whos used gadgets for cars, these ones definitely surprised me with how good quality they are because usually you'll face issues like the audio not being in sync or the entire stereo stops working after a week

Ok so I tried this today. When the car was completely cold and I put the dipstick in, it comes out oily a little pass the 2" line on the stick.. Then when I turn it out, ran it for 15 minutes, passed gears ETC.. I then did the level test on running temp 200F and stick came out dry as if it had no fluid. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the dipstick suppose to come out with just the tip showing a slight bit of fluid when its cold and then at the 2" mark when it's hot? What happened here?

Most of those problems must be more common up north… Like the paint chipping around the fender wells, the back glass hinge, and the wheel bearings… I have heard the sway bar end links are junk but my mom hasn’t had any problems other than the fans… She gave the Escape to me last week and it’s so nice… I’m in love with it…😂 It’s an 08 limited with the 3.0 and 4wd… I would have called it all wheel drive personally since it doesn’t have high and low range but to each their own… It literally looks brand new under the hood and the undercarriage… I was amazed honestly… Thanks for the video, I’m sure I’ll have it until the bitter end…😂 I’ve always been a Ford man anyway…

Its a challenging job for sure but with extensions and some patience its totally worth it and doable. Well technically, you are suppose to take the exhaust off and slide it over and down that way. However, if you live where they salt the roads due to snow I would not recommend that. Let me ask you, How many miles you had on the car before the original starter went bad?

I'm looking into paying a mechanic to install this for me. But before I do is there any update on how this is working still? It doesn't have very good reviews so I'm curious if it would be good enough as I don't need anything to fancy just the backup camera and Google maps are the things I really want.

One thing is wrong any r12a it should be installed on liquid state not on gas ,im not sure why but redtek and duracool and any other r12a brand state it should be liquid can upside down.
@chuckm5923
@chuckm5923 Ай бұрын
It’s a blended refrigerant, blended refrigerants have to be charged upside down so it mixes properly. If you live in the USA just get R134 from Wally World or your parts store. We use this in old cars that came with R12 because it's so expensive. R12a is a mix of propane and isobutane. It's sold under different names, but the same stuff.

There’s so much miss information in this video it’s crazy. The red on the gauge when the car is off is your static pressure. It will give you an indication of if you have too much refrigerant or too little. The bottle itself has arrows on it indicating that you are supposed to hold it upside down when filling. If your system is empty the gauge should start in the green and then move up into the blue one it’s full, not the other way around. Also not any refrigerant in you system over the winter will cause corrosion inside the pipes and lead to expensive damage in the future.
