Hey, no idea if youd have any advice but i just bought an older RV (85 coachmen), and none of the rear lights are working, at first i figured the bulbs were burnt out cause the front marker lights werent working but i replaced them and four out of five functioned. I tested the brake lights with my multimeter (ohms and DCV) and it seems like its all getting power, but even with new bulbs they're not functioning. (Didn't test the rear marker lights with a meter but with a new bulb theyre still not working) Checked the fuses in the engine bay and under the dash, as well as the brake light relay and they all seem to ge fine. Any advice would be much appreciated, ive asked around on reddit to no avail

Sure, but have you tried looking at the metal squigly line in the middle of the fuse? When a fuse burns, it melts in that place. It also chars the plastic which can help you identify bad fuses

This was a nice video but I'm really looking forward to the 1950's Super Panavision 70 version of "RV Repair Woman". It's hard to compete with Annette Funicello in space-age overalls using a space-age multimeter to find an alien octopus creature wedged in an RV AC.

Watched through your video and here’s my discovery: J7 on my Dometic control board shows 0 volts and when I checked my heating element at the cable ends for continuity I get no tone. Suggestions? Oh, fuses are good. My plan is to purchase new heating element; and if that doesn’t do it, then new control board.

I upgraded my L/A battery to LiFePo and changed out my converter to a newer version that will charge Lithium.... Will my truck alternator be stressed out while in tow of my 5th wheel?

Make sure its compatable with the batteries. Lithium requires a different charging profile. I have a 20 watt Optimate Duo that works great!

Isn't there a problem with freezing some batteries?
