This technique is intriguing. Has anyone out there ever done a quilting project using this method, and if so, did you have any issues piecing the blocks and quilting? I seems like there would be some bulk in the seams. But I'm all for less cutting, that is for sure.

I have a question not on gloves but on a bedspread quilt. I bought a white cotton quilt with tropical leaves stitching. The problem I have after washing is the batting in between the stitching Rosa like a ball. Believe it or not I don't use the dryer I lay it flat out on the bed for it to dry. Is there a remedy to fix this issue?

How often should you change your needle?
@NationalQuiltersCircle
@NationalQuiltersCircle 19 күн бұрын
When to change your sewing needles. Ideally a machine needle needs to be changed every 6 - 8 hours of continuous use or if starting a new sewing project, but there is a little bit of flexibility in there and it is also dependent on the project.

Hi I managed to free motion quilt three queen size quilts as well as six five ft by four ft quilts on a Bernina 530-2 record. Never done any quilting before at all it had tobe free motion as this machine does not have a walking foot.
