I agree to most things said here, but also have a counterpoint. Limit testing while you are at low elo can create bad habits since people can't punish you properly. That's how we got all those inting yasuos, they sometimes steamroll lane due to dumb opponents and get the expectation that that's how it always goes. I agree you should do some limit testing, but take any positive results with a grain of salt.

This Mundo build is a joke. Not getting armor or mr on first three items is such a bad advice. Also Mundo’s winrate is lower that50% being in b-c tier in high elo so makes no sense to put him even in this video

One of these days, you guys will eventually tell us how to know when Blackfire Torch and Liandrys is good for your midlane character or not. As of right now, all I know is "it's good on some champs and it's not good on others"....which honestly is just not helpful. Can someone PLEASE explain to me what makes it good on cass, but not good on a lux or a seraphine or karma??? 😐😐😐

Long story short, it's all a numbers game. Torch and Liandrys have good passives where they burn enemies for %max hp so you want to buy them on champions who can use abilities with low ap ratio and low cooldowns to apply burn more often, eg. Malzahar (E), Cass (Q,E), Brand ( synergy with passive), Zyra (plants), Anivia (ult). It is not good on Veigar because he has high ap ratio on abilities and way to stack ap therefore needing items that can multiply ap (rabadon) or use that ap in some other way to burst down enemies (Ludens companion). Ahri is not a good champ for torch and liandrys because of high ap ratios and needing to burst enemies down quickly.

But it’s also useful for checking vision. When I used to play support, if you’re ranged and hiding in brush and minion wave is near, if you attack, the enemy has vision on you, this scenario seems more common than the tower diving issue though I have encountered that exact thing OP mentions
