Wanted to let you know I stole the video to go with an AI generated song. I put a link back to you at the top of the description. If it's not okay let me know and I'll redo it with a different video. Song with your video as background is here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oceYiLiYvbXMn6s.html hopefully it's okay, if not let me know and I'll pull it down. Love you content, very good and useful archive of films.

As a body draftsman nearing retirement, I remember this age very well. The cars of the late 70s and early 80s were all hand drawn. There was true artistry involved with the best body draftmen. We took great pride in our work because we knew dies were getting cut from our hand drawings. The computer is certainly easier and allows for tighter tolerances, but it is no different than the old campass, sweeps and triangles. It is a tool and is only as good as the guy driving it. The manual world forced the draftsman to think three dimensionally in a two-dimensional medium. You couldn't just spin the data on the screen. The great ones were truly brilliant because you would have to see lines of multiple parts on a master layout all together, and they were the same color - black lines on mylar. I loved working with all of those guys!

My grandparents bought their 6 unit apartment building new in Queens, NY $ 25,000 in 1928. My family moved out in 1973, grandmother sold in 76 before passing, now with only 3rd owner after all this time.

The Filmosound 16mm projector was world wide famous. Especially for the military. I was the chief projectionist for the club in Vietnam and we watched endless movies. The big problem was looking for projection bulbs. 750W....Luckily we had a AFTVN station on the mountain with us and they had a Filmosound. I would beg for a bulb now and then. Probably worth $750 back in the day

I worked at kindel as a sander before it burned down.. And it was like stepping back in time working there.. It had ancient wood floors and saw dust everywhere. I was only there a short time but every day I thought how hasnt this place burned down. Because it was a literal powder keg. I don't live far from where the Jefferson & Garden location use to stand. And it was sad seeing that historic building going down.
