When it comes to “time” it takes to make a pattern, I always use “active time” I have a couple apps on my phone to help keep track of time I have on each project. When I sit down, I start my timer and when I put it down I stop. If it’s something I’ve made only once, I usually go off on that time for pricing unless it’s a ridiculous amount of time.

I made a mario blanket, took me 12 days 120 hours. They had it for a week b4 they put a hole in it and threw it away. Now i only crochet for me.

It’s so funny to think that this was the video that got me into crocheting! I watched it the week it came out, bought the materials and-from that point on-I’ve never left my house without a project again. Crochet became one of my favorite hobbies, and it’s definitely a skill I’ll carry with me forever- maybe even pass it down to my kids and grandkids one day! All because of this exact video, that reached me at exactly the right time, almost 4 years ago. Thank you so much for that!!❤❤🥹
