That power only belongs to GOD. The passage is John 2v1-11. 1) First our lord said "Woman, what does your concern have to do with me? My hour has not yet come". Not my time (I understand you were paraphrasing but its important I mention this). Jesus going to do the miracle later isn't because Mary "Activated" anything. Its simply His hour hadn't come yet. Jesus is so perfect even to the detail of the second on which to perform a miracle according to God the Fathers will. Not Mary's will. Mary was a sinner like you and I, for you to say she activated our Lord's destiny is Blasphemous. Only GOD has that power, not mothers nor fathers. 2) 1:37 I will address that with a question. Do mother's(women) have authority over God? To a point that they can change his Will? You see the problem with your interpretation is the praise of self. Its all about 'me' and 'me'. The Gospel is first and fore most about Christ. Once you deviate from that, you start having small gods like pride. There's no special office for mothers or fathers for that matter.
