I love your version of this. Would you consider making a smaller one beginning at the start so that it’s really easy to see. I get the gist of what you’ve done and it’s great, but don’t feel confident about how I’d be able to get it right. 🌹❤️

This is as a good video on the puff quilt. I already have enough squares cut to do a baby quilt before making a larger one. Thank you

I love the fact, that you do not have to add a backing on after you sew the puffs. I have a hard time wrapping my head around how to get the backing even on a traditional puff quilt. Thank you for the tutorial.

New subscriber. Some way you found your way on my suggestion page. Can’t wait to see what else you make. These look great. I agree with the stronger thread. Maybe you are using stronger thread. Thank you

Thanks so much! Actually, this is my personal channel, and I added a few videos at other sewist’s request. I’m starting a business page shortly, and I will link it here for you, so you can see all the videos.❤ I appreciate your encouragement!

Good job. But I will add one thing I found very imprtant was to use heavy thread, upholstery. In oder to get a good fit to your cd it really helps to be able to pull hard. Regular sewing thread will break almost every time. Also helps to use the heavy duty thread when putting the two sides together. This is just my opinion and from my trial and error found this easier.

I had no problem with doubled thread- you really don’t need to pull it. Super tight for good success. They’re actually more comfortable if it’s not super snug. I initially use a heavier thread, but found it quicker to use all purpose. Of course, use what works for you! That’s the beauty of Sewing. We can learn all the things, but ultimately do what we like best.❤

You did a great job, and what a good idea to use scrap material, and those unused CDs laying around in drawers.sure gives me an idea to make for my sister and her husband of soon to be married 65 years, they play cards. Loved your little giggle when you messed up. That's OK, we all make little mistakes when making something. Waiting to see what the next project you have for us.
