Just a random point but the hardest bloke ive ever met was a Kiwi.

Thanks for the interview, Jamie. Very interesting. My family and I have always been close and totally respectful to the SAS boys my old man knew. I've always been so interested by these guys, in awe and wish i had given it a go myself...instead of chasing girls. I respect the need for SAS to stay hush but im so glad some of you guys open up about your stories and lives. It's almost to hold the memories of all the men who have served and/or given their lives. Well done, one of the highest achievements of human capabilities.

Screw all this Western BS! The Anglo-Axis/NATO-led criminal war criminal's lost, while the indigenous Afghans and the 'Global South' won.

he wasn't a Commando, Mate. He was an Operator. In NZ the Commando's aren't 'badged', and haven't gone through the entire selection and training cycle that this gent did.

Too right. Very proud of our boys. Oversight is always needed but those "journalists" who attempted to make a dollar out of a "story" off of the backs of these men, in war, risking lives for the greater good are simply grifter scum. Kiwi SAS have a proud history all over the world. All top tier forces are the elite but us kiwis punch above our weight, Respect to all those men.

Why does everyone in New Zealand have a mate or know someone in the SAS, while nobody in the UK knows anyone in the real SAS 22 Reg ?? NZ SAS is the same course as the British girl guides course 😂😂

I remember working in Waiuru as a contractor, and the SAS guy's were back from time training out in the bush, met one of the guy's out in the Oasis hotel and asked where he just come from, told me where him and the guy's had been, Awesome guy's, quiet, unassuming, respectful, Next morning lining up for breakfast at the dinning rooms, the boy's showed up dressed and with their SAS Blue belt's,and all the other army recruits along with the rest of us civilian contractor's,just knew,we were standing next to some very special people, and the pride shown by the regular soldiers that morning spoke volume's Even though there was a hush, from everyone standing and waiting in line, Remember that time fondly, even 40 yrs later,
