i have problems with mine. i have wow and flutter 0.15-0.2 and even sometimes 0.25 caused by optical incrimental encoder stabilization. Because it corrects speed often. like motor spins at 33.31 rpm and then encoder increase it to 33.33 causing wow and flutter instability. Then motor slows again to 33.31 and again stabilization see it and increase speed. it happens 1 time per minute. Drive system and motor in this turntable crap! for that price there should be synchronics good quality motor! Manual says that this Thorens has only 0.08% wow and flutter, its not true!

This made me laugh a bit....selling magic silverwater to audiofiles😅 This product claims that data sent from one computer to the other one is being garbled on the way in lan cables with noise? If u have issues with cut outs and connection issues u need to change the cable or check hardware, thats it! This product is a pure scam! Its very interesting that people keep buying stuff like this 😅 Programs moved with garbled bits would not start when copied. This is a lack of knowledge and confusing analog signals to digital ones. It is two completely different type of signals. Also fiberoptic cables as lan cables is not very common in households and ordinary wires is used up to 10gbps and most people have basic 1gbps networks at home. This is a good way to burn money and electricity on nothing. Lower noise floor in the lan signal 😂😂😂 Good way to upsell a metal, poweradapter, lights, passthrough adapter that does nothing to the signal. If it did something with the signal/data being transported then the sound would change and change dramatically.

The LAN iPurifier can not make a night and day difference, but the difference is there and it is easy to justify the cost of the LAN iPurifier. I will very happily demo this unit to you in store so you can see (well hear) for yourself.

The vault is great - until it fails. Then Bluesound has one answer. Buy a new one. WTF!! I'm serious. I have the emails. I now own a very expensive brick. Mine failed to properly download and install an update. At that point it was useless. BS support was useless. The firmware update was not interrupted. They hound the daylights out of you to install the updates, most of which seem to do nothing.

You dont need a ”balanced turntable”. Since all MC-catridges per definition is balanced the only thing you need is a phono preamp that is balanced or a preamp with balanced phono-input.
@TLPCHC17 күн бұрын
Sort of. You certainly get the best out of it with a cable the is balanced and a phono pre-amp that uses a balanced circuit to reject noise

Is there a significant sound difference between the RN 1000 and the RN 800? Is the RN 1000 worth getting over the RN 800?
@TLPCHC17 күн бұрын
The RN-800 is way better than the RN-600. However the RN-1000 is not as much of an upgrade over the RN-800. I guess it might come down to the speakers you own. Personally - I would buy the RN-1000.

Thanks for posting this cool Mc unboxing I'm now considering uping my amplifier game to the McIntosh MA9500 Integrated Amplifier..a solid state design. This unit is significantly better than any gear I've owned & seems to have plenty enough features packed into its rugged chassis to last me a lifetime. Do you or anyone here have any listening impressions of this unit? Is it easy to operate? As you know, this unit replaced the well-known MA9000M I appreciate any information you may have. Cheers, David-

I went with a used MC152 Power Amp with Autoformers & an MC49 Preamplifier. These 2 used pieces had depreciated in value & so I was able to afford them. I researched them & both these products got strong reviews from owners & the audio press. They've been shipped to me. I believe that they're going to both be fine performers. They will double my present amplifier output with that great signature McIntosh sound. I honestly can't wait to hear them. Everything in my audio system is up to snuff. I'm happy with it. Thanks Again, David-

What a handsome unit. I have the S303...wondering now if I should have waited for the C603.
@TLPCHC22 күн бұрын
I guess it is the basic question of Multi vs Single disk. The CD-C603 is very deep - so might not fit all set ups
@carriestuart992122 күн бұрын
@@TLPCHC Yes and no. If it has the same DAC as the S303, and isn't much deeper than it is wide, then I think a lot of traditional open shelf style racks would accommodate it adequately. The only reason I bought an S303 was because my original CDX-700 (circa 1987) decided it didn't want to read and initialize CDs anymore after loading. At first when I tried to replace it with another Yamaha (as my vintage receiver and cassette tape deck are both Yamaha units) I was informed by the retailer that Yamaha had stopped manufacturing CD players!! That was true, apparently, for a short period of time. My options were Pioneer or Cambridge Audio. Initially I bought an entry level Pioneer unit that served me fine, but when I became aware that Yamaha had new CD players available again, I jumped at the chance to add a new Yammy to my existing family, and donate my Pioneer to a close friend. Now, I'm contemplating purchasing a stand alone DAC and running the S303's optical output through it, thinking I might improve upon the sonic qualities from it.
