Do you also mean to hold your hands away from the head as opposed to straight down, while bending the hair up to cut??!

I am not the hairstylist but I watch them. If you hold it up for flipping up it might work, but I would hold it straight down if you want it to flip under.

Hello, just subscibe here. Well, i have searching for how to reinforcement your cheap scissors but yet not find any. For instanr in my situation the cheap always break in the handle which is made from plactic.. thanks n cheers. Nice vidio here. 👍👌✌️🙂

First, I would upgrade my shears to all metal. I'm sure there is some glue and heavy duty tape to fix these but in all reality it would most likely cost more than the shears. thank you for subscribing. I'll try to address this in a future video.

Start early using a left handed shear or it will be tough to switch.

So I'm a new stylist just graduated cosmetology school this past summer both of my instructors were right handed and Im a lefty I have actually had a hard time learning different techniques cutting hair because I cant hold my hands certain ways and I still find myself getting lost in some cuts or slanting my fingers witch in turn makes the haircut uneven then I have to go back through and fix it all over again I'm good with everything else i just have trouble cutting because I'm a lefty

i have had a hard time learning also. i have issue following direction with holding and ect. im also dyslexic. i am self taught in cutting and my way not be the same,but my cuts look the same as other ppls when im done and my customers are usually happy so thats really all that matters right?!
