This is a great guide, but when I try to go into diagnostic mode my washer automatically turns on the dumb pump. How do I get it to stop so I can go into diagnostic mode with the washer actually being off?

Thanks for the video! everytime we had a power bump my Amana wash machine would just blink until i unplugged it, well thats a major PIA so i was going to get an ext. cord so i could reach & unplug it easier then i thought there has to be a away to reset it without having to unplug it and i dont have a manual so here i am lol i pushed the button for 3 sec & bingo no more pulling the washer out & hanging over trying to reach the plug getting a chest cramp 👍

My washer has NO lights yet it is running the drain cycle. The only way to make it stop is to unplug The cancel button is not working.
