Is it preferred to pick a business that only has one location in the city or it doesn't matter much? Cause i was thinking this will affect the target audience? Cause for example a business with several locations throughout the country will require me to target a wider audience or should i just focus on one location and use a more specific location target like their physical address
@growwithchristine
@growwithchristine 3 күн бұрын
Hi there! Great question and yes your thought process is correct. You can choose any business whether local or nationwide. However, targeting will be different in each situation like you stated above in your example. As a beginner, a local business targeting one physical address will be easier

Hi Christine, Sorry to solicit free advice, but I am very interested in your course and have a few questions. 1. Do you funnel students from your course to join Acadium? I saw a few mentions of internships at Acadium in your testimonials and was curious if they still had to pay for it, if you still recommend Acadium even after completing your course, etc. 2. Do you think it's viable for someone without a degree to break in to the field of marketing right now? I'm only worried that the field might be oversaturated as the barrier to entry seems low, so many companies and fields are rolling out AI, etc. I really appreciate your content and I thank you for your time. Cheers!

Hi there, Happy to help answer your questions~ 1. No, students chose to join Acadium from their own free will. Since Acadium is a helpful platform to get experience as a complete beginner that is why I talk about it in one of my videos but that is as far as it goes. Even if you complete the course, you still need internship experience wherever you can get that from
@growwithchristine

2. Yes, I have students that graduate straight out of high school or still in high school that have gotten a job or internship in marketing. We use AI as a tool and have not had to worry about loss of jobs. If you check LinkedIn there are still thousands of postings across the US.

Hi Christine, I love watching your channel! I have a question about working remotely. I live in Bali, Indonesia (and I am Indonesian), and I'm looking for remote digital marketing (SEO) jobs in the US. Many of these job listings ask, "Are you eligible to work in the US?" or "Do you need sponsorship in the future?" I find this confusing since remote jobs should allow you to work from anywhere in the world and shouldn't require sponsorship or legal offline work in the US. Do you have any advice or opinions on this matter? Thanks so much!
@growwithchristine

Hi there! If they are US companies, they might mean remote anywhere in just the US. There are laws about working outside of certain countries so this needs to be answered by Google-ing or checking labor laws for specific countries

My focus lies in keyword planning, analytics, and ensuring the website maintains relevant keywords, user-friendliness, and strong calls to action for increased conversions. However, as a team of two, I'd really appreciate a video detailing how to strategise each person's role effectively. To be honest, it feels overwhelming managing ads, competitor analysis with tools like SpyFu, and everything else solo.💕
