Hello Ambah, just have a quick question about blocking his shawl. Do you lay it out completely flat or do you fold the side “wings” over so they cup around the shoulders for wearing? Thanks so much! Loved this pattern…would be interested in making it about half a size larger…any tips for increasing the depth and width? Thanks again! Bev

Hi, I lay it flat and arrange it into a into a slight crescent to add the curve to it.

The video shows the slips of the SSK purlwise but the written pattern says knitwise. I’m confused!

I love your pattern but I love the one you are wearing with extra eyelets.. Do you have a pattern for that one? Can I just continue the eyelets instead of stopping at the sleeves? Thank you for the tutorial.

This is soooo pretty. I haven't knitted in years (maybe 50 years...so, yes...I'm old) But....this would tempt me to pick it up again. I have been crocheting or looming for those past 50 years...once a fiber artist, always a fiber artist. 😉You know how that is I'm sure. The yarn you are using is beautiful, could you describe the composition of the yarn and the ply in relation to the thickness of your needles, please.

Wow - thats beautiful. I am busy with my first knitted shawl, and at this stage have about 200 stitches and find the cord extremely challenging, and here you are with a whole shawl on - I am in awe !!

It can depend on the pattern. For the Adah Shawl it is the right side.

Omit the sleeve decreases for more volume, then you'll want to decrease at teh start of the cuff for a fitted cuff.

I noticed that when you did the ssk you seemed to slip them purl-wise. Is that correct for this pattern?

Oops, I have a habit of doing that! As you usually work you ssk’s is best - slipping knitwise is how I describe it in the pattern.
