The premise is kind of stupid! Why didn’t the other sub just torpedo them instead of trying to ram them and run the risk of killing everybody on board?

Another Voyage episode that was part of a syndication kit, with bumpers and the next week episode preview intact. But l did notice that the brought to you by tag for sponsors at the end was just before the credits. Usually it's after the end credits just before the 20th Century Fox display.

My all time favourite Sci Fi show, it's got everything monster's of various shapes and sizes (mostly human shape) giant whales, giant sting rays, big shaggy monster's, Werewolf's a Mummy, several alien's and mad scientists not to mention the beautiful Seaview streamlined, graceful armed to the teeth and built like a tank! God Bless the crew the hero's that put up with it all.😀

I could listen to Richard Basehart all day he had one of the most beautiful voices I ever heard, to me Voyage was the best of the sci fi shows of the sixties.

This episode was the last one produced and aired. Funny how the preview for the next episode, "The Cyborg" aired on Oct 10, 1965. I'm assuming "The Cyborg" was the first repeat episode.

Love how the admiral pushes the books off his desk when they collide and how they can’t handle a 5 degree tilt - suddenly they act like they weigh 2 tons. The acting is so bad. 😂 Can’t believe the crap I used to watch and love as a kid.

Where's Gregory Peck, when we need him??? He could, 'beckon' him!! Well at least, we have "Ishmael'!!! Can we still, call him that🤔?? I think he's higher up, in rank now😉. Good episode☺️!! Admiral Nelson; "The story of Jonah. They knew that, there were fish big enough, to swallow a man". Her response; "Ancient history". History🤨⁉️ But, Jonah and the whale was in the Bible, which is not history, but a fictional, mythical tale. Besides, we all know that a whale, is NOT a fish, but a whale🐳…………

One of the best episodes I have seen of this series. The black & white and original commericals takes you back to that time. Very cool!

I used to watch it too. Now it seems like total crap. Even the commercials look like deceptive, cheesy marketing.

WHAT'S WITH THE SPED UP SOUND???????
@ssosmcin6 ай бұрын
It's in the description: This is a UK broadcast from Channel 4 in the mid-90's. The PAL conversion sped up the episode a bit, but I am trying to show different places where Voyage aired and I don't want to put up the clean DVD prints that you can go out and buy anyway.

Thank uou for posting this episode. Despite what anyone says it's one of our favorites. We'll probably watch more times than you can count. Besides, how many other creatures hsve come aboard Seaview to try and take it and one or more of the crew over? Nothing unusual about that. Look foreward to future posts.😊❤😊❤😊 1:58

At this point this show was right off the rails story wise even Richard Baseheart wouldn't dignify this story with an.explanation of how a 3000 year old mummy came back to life Shutup and take the money for acting in this Shlock he was telling David Heddon
@ssosmcin9 ай бұрын
Well to be fair, Basehart did the series for the money from the very start. Irwin Allen paid him top dollar and Basehart had an expensive divorce to bankroll. Also, it's not like he refused to create an explanation...he was following the script. William Welch is the one who didn't bother. RB just added his own tongue in cheek delivery. I think this episode is fun, if kinda pointless. Great music and performances make this an enjoyable time passer. Thanks for commenting!

That moment when Lee is lying on the sick bay bed with the creature wrapped around his face and head... reminds me of a character played by John Hurt in a certain smash-hit Sci Fi movie that came out in 1979.

why do all of the scientists on this show, do stupid experiments that have no logic to them, why would someone do something like this.
@AdmiralNelson10004 ай бұрын
Something to do with creating warm environments at the poles --- the conversion to a monster was supposedly an accident, exposure to the strange new environment that Paulsen 's experiment caused. Unfortunately, no further examination is made in this regard. Was hoping to get a theory on HOW the Paulson device worked.
