My friend who had stage 3 ovarian cancer is HRD negative. She been standard treated (chemo, surgery and chemo). Is Niraparib is suitable for her as maintenance therapy? Is there any other available therapy for her? She is in Ottawa.

I am a young Italian patient and I am pursuing the second degree in biological sciences with cellular and molecular address. I have high grade 3 stage serous ovarian cancer with brca1 mutation. I am on olaparib and for now I am fine, I am NED, but due to the studies I do I know many things and I am terrified by the recurrence of disease. I would like to add durvalumab to my therapy but in Italy it is not prescribed. How can I do it? I would like some extra chances, I don’t want to end up in hospice so young to wait for death for months. Could you help me? Thank you so much

Why is it always first line treatment, what about the rest of us who have bern fighting this horrid disease for yrs. We need new treatment to help us to. We need new treatment to help us survive. This is so unfair for. I’m BRCA1. Nothing is working anymore. I need new treatment but can’t get anything because it’s always for frontline. Again so unfair, so the rest of us have to die because there’s no new treatment for the rest of us because we aren't frontline.

My fiancé had rccc kidney cancer and he was only approved of a kidney gene panel. Nothing was found! No gene? He had a basal skin surgery two years before this and he was told it had nothing to do with his kidney cancer. He had had a hormone cancer in the 80s and had a lumpectomy and radiation. What tests would you recommend for him? We live on Long Island.

7:51 Pet-Scan CT Scan Thank you! I am just starting my road and the first thing I had done was a Pet Scan.

I have a rare type of Ovarian Cancer. When I did my first PET scan, the lymph nodes in my mediastinum showed up in the scan which indicated my cancer had spread there. I went through the whole chemo treatment after surgery. After the treatment, they did a new PET and those 5 lymph nodes, although smaller in size, were still showing up. However, this time the tecs had some doubts around this being due to cancer which led my doctor send me for a bronchoscopy to perform a biopsy. Turns out, I had nothing in those lymph nodes (not even a virus or something similar, pathology showed they were completely healthy). So my questions are: why do they keep showing up in the PET scan? And why just those 5 lymph nodes show up and not others? I have asked my doctors but they never give me clear answers. Anyone here that can shed a bit of light? Thanks a lot for these videos by the way

My father was on alectinib but cancer in the liver started growjng so he is now on lorlatinib

My husband was diagnosed in January 2023 with Adenocarcinoma lung cancer stage 4. He has received 4 chemotherapy treatments, and just started last week on Immunotherapy and scheduled for another in 3 weeks. He is doing very well and more active each day.

Extremely useful information. I am on my no five, lorlitanib. Good to know there is two more in the loop. I am on my eigth year stage four, had forty plus meta in the brain, and around the body. Doing good, only a few left. Living mainly green and healthy.

At this time there are Selpercatinib and Pralsetinib TKI on market. If the don't help doe you think those you mentioned could and if yes why?

Cabozantinib works great, unfortunately the drug slowly deteriorates your body. With continued use of Cabo somethings eventually is going to give out and can be very Dangerous .

I have stage 4 lung cancer. I have COPD Influenza Pulmonary fibrosis I have some scaring. They can't operate. They can't use radiation because it would harm me they said. I can't have Emunatharphy. So they say Chemo is my only option. I also have bladder cancer. I have gone threw two operation and have just gone threw 6 treatment of BCG. Waiting to do a scope to see how things are going. They found a nodule on my lung years ago which now has grown. Now that nodule has turned into 13 heading to my windpipe. They took a biopsy of one. The cell was good. But the other test showed cancer. They say. My main doctor has retired and no other has been his replacement. So I am all alone. My chances don't look good. What can you do for me?
