I miss hitting up 19 or 17 and seeing what was up. Idk how to hell I got the nickname but I got it in high school. (Rambo) ended up being my handle ..... I even had to watch my local truck stop die you could walk in there and it just smelled like the 70s. Cheap cigarettes Stale coffee And greasy ass food. Used to go into the truck stop every morning and either get a couple breakfast tacos or shit on a shingle and bullshit with the guys from out of state. That were looking for a local to find out where the skunks and chicken coops were. Sad to be honest. I watched everything about my town die around me Population of like 1200 everybody knew everybody Everyone would be in the deli truckstop or diner bullshiting and having lunch at noon Somebody would ask how your doin Or what you've been up to etc Everyone was at the game on Friday night I'm glad I got to experience most of what my dad and grandad did growing up as it had stayed pretty much the same here for 60 years. Didn't have electricity till 1955 And from then on it was the same. Up until about 2008-2010...... then it all slowly faded away The last time I heard the old cb talk used was about 2011........

Nice channel! I subscribed and gave you a thumb up. I have been driving with the same small company for the last four years. I have seen the illegal side of a trucking operation so much I would not even know were to start. I finally made the choice to put in my two weeks and hand in my keys. Yesterday was my last day. I leave for orientation with swift on the 16th. I had been looking into quit a few different company's and Swift seems like it will be the best match for what I'm looking for. For the work the pay seems decent/average at the end of the day its only a decal on the side of the tractor that sense SWIFT its how they treat me as a driver, compensate me for my work and lastly maintain the equipment I operate that's what matters to me. I am happy I stumbled onto your channel. I have been driving a Old 99' international so its going to be heaven just to be in something newer.
