How do you manage the risk of it dropping off the edge of the panels. That's the only risk you'd need to mitigate. I love the idea I'd just be worried about it dropping off and breaking or hurting someone if on a roof.

Thank you for the comment. It’s not 100% certain you won’t run it over the edge, but to prevent that we put a piece of tape on the hose at the STOP mark so you don’t let the hose lower beyond the tape. Also, we keep a shut off valve at the end of the hose in case it does jump off the panels.

Look at the Multi Hog Solar Panel Cleaner Attachment and it will do the whole thing and it's Self Contained and Driveable and it will take less time to go and not have the Setup Time that this is taking to get setup with the Hoses and the Pressure Washer and the Water pump and the running of the Hose and Electricity and the Big Water Tank and the Driver to get it there and then the Whole Time that you are there, Days ?? Or just a Few Hours Or Minutes ???? And this Setup seems very labor intensive to get it All Done before you start to Clean the Solar Ground Level System 🤔🤔🤔🤔....?

Get a Better Technology Flail Mower instead of Old School Stuff that the Flail Mower will do that with 1 pass and not have stuff flying out and hit the Solar System and The operator is in a Cab Safety and Multi Hog Flail Mower and Roberine Flail Mowers are what is needed for this.....

@@ProSolarClean That Mower that you have in the video isn't setup for a Flail Mower and it will have to be a Greater Size of Tractor and the 2 mower descriptions that I have gave you are using the Flail Setup and I think that the Roberine Flail Mower is sold in Utah 🤔🤔 but it's manufactured in another country but if you do enough of the Solar System panels the savings will pay for it and some of the Flail Setup can do 16 feet wide in one pass and I don't have a clue yet on how wide the solar system is but I have heard that there's a possibility of one of the farm's in my area and I have been looking at the Flail Mower Setups and A Flail Setup for your mower is like maybe 30" inches and 🤔 that is going to accomplish What ????🤔🤔🤔 At least look for a 10' foot model..... just My thoughts on this....

I have looked at the Canycom website and the only Flail Mower that they have is the Stand Up Ride On and the Walk Behind Flail Mower and there not very big....Wide.....

You should be Using a Flail Mower that will give you the Width wide of the Lanes and do it once and not 4 Or 5 trip's like your doing now....

@@ProSolarClean Trackless, Multi Hog, Roberine Flail Mower Any of These but it's more Costly to get the full size And then make 4-5 passes with what you have now and that's what you will have to get figured out and the Gas that you are using now and Compared to a Three Section Flail Mower Setup's and They have Bigger ones but at what cost and Time Saved 🤔....

@@carolrice2063 many solar farms owners do not approve big tractors w big equipment on/ behind it so we are for sure looking for a solution not damaging the soil and making deep tracks between the solar rows . Any recommendations are appreciated!

@@ProSolarClean The Suggestions that I have gave you are not BIG TRACTOR'S please do a Search and you will see and do not get a Brush Cutter unless you have enough funds to cover the New Insurance that it's going to take And the Brush Cutter will Throw the Cuts possibly into a Panel and the Additional Expenses for replacement and it's totally up to You and I have Gave you The Names of what I have Seen and it was in KZfaq Land and go back and watch the videos of them and 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔....

Hi @dantheman7748. We have about 10 more AL2 in stock at the old prices. Next order will be AL3 at the new price. The difference is in the outer planetary disc of the transmission. A small change but should make the transmission stronger.

It a a great video , maybe if you are a solo operator you need some sort of weighted tripod where you can place the hose up high above the panels on this tripod or similar so that they will not touch them at all.

Is this all filtered water? what did you use to get all that filtered water?

Hi. We keep DI tanks on the trucks or on the ground near the water totes. We use 330 gallon water totes that get refilled by a 500 gallon water buffalo. The water source is provided by the farm. They are a fruit and vegetable producer and they have good well water.

What many fail to realise is that the sola tec c is also a great tool for cleaning washable surfaces like Glass roofs !! It is very efficient .. it is very efficent.. say it a third time so it sinks in it is very effecient and saves a lot of energy !

Great channel ....... the Sola tec c will work with a kränzle electric pressure washer with 1600 plus PSI and 7 liters per minute ( probably less water LPM also and possible less pressure than 1600 psi ) i was using a 7/122 kränzle and the solat tec c worked !

Yes, we put a white lithium grease on the threads between the individual segments of the brush roll. jk

We were cleaning in condition close to 32F using very cold water few years ago and nothing happened to glass , …. from the other hand I was cleaning in Mohave desert, 112F and no one single glass got crack ….. it’s tempered glass , it can take a lot !

You could have just pressure washed the panels. I learned you can do it that way in college

You can not pressure wash panels. Just cause you did it in college doesn’t mean it’s the right way. Use these videos to educate yourself. Pressure washing panels can and will eventually damage them.

you should have released the air from the lines before starting the pressure washer, otherwise you'll wear out the pumps allot faster.
