I play ss14 recently, and I like the game even with the content it have right now! It have a pretty big chance to be the sequel! Wanna play ss13 though, only time will tell when.

I've just recently begun my carrer with Nanotrasen and it's been interesting getting a history of the company like this, thanks for sharing! I learned about the game from sseth and fell in love with the concept and played for ages. I never got robust though. I feel like I’m finally getting a grasp of most things in ss14

Cosmic horror always loses its lustre when explained and revealed. At that moment, it's stops being cosmic, wondrous, and incomprehensible. In my opinion, he should've just left it unsaid. Maybe told Kasey's story, but left Kaminsky to be sprinkled in with no explanation. Mystique is the power behind great horror, imo.

If I had to guess what Mechscape was meant to be… I’d say No Man’s Sky. As a web and app developer myself who was once one of those fans longing for the release, by “couldn’t get it working”, I’m fairly certain they could… on an environment from that era with enough effort maybe, but no way with todays tooling and such, it definitely wouldn’t compile and get errors out the wazoo if I had to guess, assuming they still had all of the code even. Thanks for the video, that was insightful!

As one of the new admins for SS14 I will say. It is much more user friendly and much more intuitive. It also feels way smoother to use. Downside being that we only have about 4 major round types, alongside about 12 random mid round events. I highly recommend trying it :)

Great video, thanks. That being said, I guess most people were frustrated because at the end of the game they did not know more about who killed Luke and why, and it's rather infuriating that even after the ARG we still don't really know. We vaguely know why, even though it is rather implicit, but as far as I know we don't know who.

SS14 is pretty simple, but I've had a lot of fun on there. Obviously, SS13 is still the far superior version, but SS14 has great potential.

@@MrDontSmokeKids Asking google "what i does # mean" results in every other symbol on the keyboard but # 🤣 I did track it down by just typing in "hash pound" and found out it was also referred to as "sign". This was completely unfamiliar to me. So yeah. # means the number hash, pound, and sign. I learned something new from something old.

CDDA is a game that I've been obsessing over lately, the blob lore with the other entities in the game are really fun, one of the best games out there, (once you get past the interface if you havent played these type of games before lol)
