@etinne Can you put me in touch with this guy? I love how he has his portfolio management system... it's exactly what I am trying to build for my algos. I'd like to see about collaborating with him on a dash that manages algo portfolios.

People who make fun out of scalpers should sit their ass down and watch the whole video. As a former scalper, I just don't have the patience but do have the discipline. I like to dabble in and out of the market. It also allows me to finish the day early when I have executed my plan correctly. No long hour chart watching and no emotional roller coaster with swing trades. Loved the interview!

Can definitely help. I’ve done many videos on how to use TradingView.

Splendid video, one of the things traders that are in the intermediate level fail to understand is -no matter what you think, there will always be another opportunity in the market, that's the funny thing -you can miss a huge move, and the next month you are in another huge move trade. -it isn't everytime you must be executing always clicking a button, even when not in the right menta frame, take rest when needed Trading is not something you must do immediately, breathe!

I think its not okey to miss a valid trade cause you dont feel conftable, no trade are conftable period , i think the best way to not miss the valid setup is to take half or fraction of the risk 🙏✌

As a beginner, I love hearing these seasoned traders express the same internal emotions that I go through. I have a long battle ahead, it seems. The interview with Anthony Crudele was awesome too! 🙌 ❤

If you are breaking your rules it means your need to update your process. From portfolio perspective you must have a max portofolio risks that cannot be exceeded therefore any trades you take be within that threshold which prevents rule breaks

this happens to a lot of traders they "build a cushion" and then they stop trading because of fear of loosing their cushion,

Interesting about Bollinger bands...I wonder what time period Rolf uses? He mentioned 2.5 standard deviation but curious about time period (e.g. 10/20 etc.)

What I've been doing as of late is listening to trading subliminal affirmations everynight and before I trade. I have seen more consistency in my trading.

The stop loss part is so true, I noticed this each time on trader, specially within crypto. Just was stopped out with a earlier solana trade at 142 USD, at 139 stop loss, now its at 147.80. Seen this happen dozens and dozens of time now, side from still having my profitable and winning trades regardless. So I am missing out, big time, for sure. Time for change. When allocating a relatively small amount o the entire capital, it is only a bigger profit too, if getting the unexpected dumps, which effectively would be additional buy opportunities at huge discounts. Same with the time-stops, I often know that it should play out within X days or weeks, if not, It almost always turned out to first go another direction (down) as I play bull.

A good strategy is if market open is fairly far above or below previous close, look for a return to that close before finding a range. I play that frequently

Need to be right has been a killer for me. I KNEW what was gonna happen, but it went hard against me. Then my ego keeps me in the trade for a bigger loss than i should have. And of course, it finally goes the "right" direction once I've closed out with the loss

I personally trade like this on my personal accounts but I doubt prop firms will allow you add to losing trades like this. I would break the 1% Risk into four trades of 0.25% risk per entry. But his style is obviously fantastic and he has evolved over the years. Beautiful content Etienne.

I've seen a WIERD shift in my thought process since DEC '23, when I started. I've gone from looking for reasons to place trades, and encouragement in terms of profit, to, having my expectations/hopes and dreams TAMPED DOWN. Like where A.C. talks about periods of time where he doesn't make money...at least twice a day I forget that it's not as simple as "put time in and make money" in a linear fashion. It will go flat and slope down at some point.

Your explanation is concise and practical. However, the market can be manipulated in many ways. I had an early understanding of trading crypto assets but was limited by my technical analysis skills. That changed when I discovered Craig Reeder’s strategy. Day trading should be given more attention as it is less affected by the market's unpredictable nature...
