I loved this video, Holly! Very beautiful, and really appreciated the exhortation to be still, and not to fear! Also wanted to let you know- The plant you identified as Poison Ivy (toward the end of the video,) is actually Box Elder- which looks a lot like Poison Ivy, but is actually in the Maple family, and not poisonous. (The edges of the leaf are different.)

burdock is really easy to cultivate.. some people build tall boxes.. 3 or 4 feet tall but 6 inch x 6 inch square.. then they fill the box with soil and plant the burdock in the top.. the box is made in such a way that one side can be removed to harvest the root...roots can grow up to 4 feet long.. also the seeds can yield a good cooking oil...they are 50% oil....the seeds can be cold pressed for the oil

I first discovered Linda back in 1988 when I was living in a two room cabin in the woods in NYS. I had just became vegan and there was an article about her in vegetarian times magazine. I called to order one of her books and it turned into years of phone conversations. I got to meet her once in Syracuse with one of her sons. Linda was and will always be a blessing to me and many others. She treated me like one of her sons. I always told her I wish she was my mom. I lost track of her in 2009. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of her. Mostly tears of joy. Rest in peace my dear and wild friend.💚 Ed Andrus

Holly, I made them with my ESL students at church last Easter. They came to class, and I gave them an apron and the recipe and sent them into the kitchen with partners. While the rolls were baking, we studied the story from the Bible and then enjoyed the empty tomb rolls!

How long do you roast the roots and at what temperature?
@WildBlessingsHollyDrake
@WildBlessingsHollyDrake 4 ай бұрын
I have researched this and EVERYONE says something different. I tend to err on the side of low temp and longer roast until you get the aroma and darkness so as to keep all the healing constituents. 250 oven for as long as it takes. ;). Happy experimenting!!

Holly Joy, thank you so much for your bountiful gift of sharing this amazing video containing such abundant blessings. Not only rich with your teachings & wisdom, but deeply inspiring with stories of your most incredible, brilliant Brian. Your powerful testimony about how God’s love sustained you & Jason through your heartbreaking loss moved me to tears & renewed my faith. So many stunning stories!! Jason’s 42 year old drawing of the little grain of wheat falling from the stalk, along with the passage from Ecclesiastes 3:14 is mindblowing!! Finding the seed pod that had turned black & orange & you reading Psalms 102. Discovering Brian’s prison penpal, Al, & his extraordinary story unfolding, with you & Jason continuing Brian’s support & encouragement. All the scriptures & miracles appearing with such perfect timing, unmistakable signs that God was with you, & His will was being fulfilled in each of your lives!! Doesn’t get any more spectacular than that!! One in 400 trillion odds against Brian or any of us even being born?! Beyond solid proof that God loves, values & created each of us for His divine purpose. All your hard work adding the amazing photos overlaying the video was so worth it, perfectly illustrating the stories, greatly enhancing them. I don’t know how you got through making this video, with your heart so tender at the anniversary of losing your beloved Brian. On second thought, yes, I do. Your memorable miracle stories explain how.

With 25 bricks you can make a rocket stove to cook outside but I don't think it is for you, madam! There is a lot of smoke, soot, and you need an assistant to fuel the stove constantly. When the stove is refueled, soot is thrown in the air, especially in the windy days. Your pots needs permanent coverage when cooking. I'm using it because I have no choice, but I don't recommend it to delicate ladies!
