99% of ball joints that are replacement for press-in are knurled.

Thanks for the question. At every vehicle oil change interval (OCI) is recommended. At the same time, while vehicle is up in the air, inspection of components can be performed. Follow vehicle manufacturers OCI for different vehicle operating conditions (regular or severe)
