Don't know if you read much but I am finishing up the autobiography of Peter Criss - Makeup to Breakup. I know it's limited material and the time reading would be plenty but could you do a review, or breakdown, of who's book you liked the most. I have read all 4. Aces book is, in my opinion, most accurate and I realized that Peter was a whiny crybaby. But financially he had every reason to complain. Id love to know what you think. Thanks Dave for the KISS love and opening my eyes and ears to how Gene and Paul really were.

@@jonstreng7850 I appreciate the question! I did read all their books, and think your suggestion is a really good idea, thanks! The only problem I can see is that I read each book as soon as it came out, so now I'm not sure how much I recall. Lol Maybe I should read them again so I can talk about them. I actually have a couple other KISS books I need to read, too.

Slave to the Grind is Skid Rows best album. The first one is awesome to but not as good as the 2nd IMO.

Very good stuff. All the Badlands stuff was. Jake E Lee and Ray Gillen are amazing. It's a shame all of it is blacklisted because of the poor decisions made by Gillen when he knew he was infected with HIV/AIDS. Tony Iommi let him go from Black Sabbath years before because he saw what a liability he was, he didn't take anything seriously and unfortunately that's his legacy. R.I.P. Ray.❤🤘

I feel that after this years "Forever" album, which I like a lot, that the band perhaps have another 2 (maybe 3) albums left in them. Hopefully with Richie back on board. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out Shanks.......

What about the sound of the albums? You didn’t mention that. I always found Alive II to sound tinny. I liked the sound of Alive much better.

@@clintpiatelli6950 yes, I agree with that assessment. But only for a brief time when I go directly from one to the other. Once I'm a few seconds in, on either album, I tend to forget that and just get into it. But yeah, you're definitely right 👍 Thanks for watching!

Dream Warriors sucks. however, Mr. scary is ..........the shit, notnot sure how to say how good it is. i can play all the rhythm tracks, but it doesnt take long to lose your place in the face melting, yet, soulful, yet technically insane lead. I was in a band , once, and the bassist was much like Don Dokken, talented, but over sensative/narcasistic, and it affected his playing.

im 53, been playing lead guitar since i was 16. lynch was and is still a god. I lovvvvve Under Lock and Key, but Attack along with Beast from the East are just another level. George's inabilty to play note for note live is an issue tho.

Really enjoyed the video. Great stuff. I was 12 when this dropped and it was one of 3 albums that shaped everything for me. Along with kiss crazy nights and whitesnake 87 - each of which was my introduction to all 3 bands. I’m from the uk and radio was not full of this type of music so I’m eternally grateful to the family friend who gifted me this in an attempt to stop me listening to pop - he very much succeeded.

A good remaster that comes to mind is Megadeth's 2 disc 25th anniversary CD of "Peace Sells but Who's Buying?". I got that for 9 bucks new, and was legitimately blown away by how good it was. They brought back the original 1986 recordings with a smidge adjustment to the gain and bass. I sincerely wish more bands would take that approach instead making things thin or a wall of sound.
