So, practically speaking...I don't think there's any need to learn/copy American accent or any other foreign accent. I would rather focus on improving pronunciations and be more understandable and clear with the words and sentences I speak. For example: listen to S. Jaishankar and Shashi Tharoor, they don't try copying American accent or any other, they just have their own accent and their English is much more understandable. So I would suggest everyone to focus on the Language rather than the Accent. And in this video u can clearly see that he is trying hard for the Accent due to which his words and sentences are not clear. I'm not criticizing this young man, it's good that he is trying to learn something along with inspiring others too. But as I said Focus on the Language rather than Accent.
