How do you keep the water clear and without algae
@AquaAndScape11 күн бұрын
@@hensley2931 the water gets filtered by the rocks and the filter floss around the pump 🙌 i dont think there will grow algae, but if so i will need to clean the rock and do a water change. Using osmosis water also helps not to introduce unwanted nutrients

Thanks a lot 🙌 If the filter floss which saves the pump gets to clogged up i may have to remove the structure. The best way to build would be to have a little service area for the pump on the side. I tried this at first but there was not enough space in the vase

What a beautiful WELL planned out scape ! It's not easy to create a composition of one continues rock mass. So your execution of undulating and S shapes is really pleasing to the eyes as well as your mastery of using volume or mass planting with color & texture blocking. Something i only see in terrascaping. You might have yourself a rarity in this tank. That "bubble algae" looks like a lesser known variety of Aegagropila linnaei or Marimo {moss ball} The species you have here grows on the shaded side of rocks in its natural indigenous environment, of which is VERY bright, so the light in your aquarium is perfect ! 🙏Thanks for sharing such a luscious creation ❣

Very nice work, congratulations 🎉. Would love to see a set up video/images of this. One question, and sorry if you’ve covered it - how do you avoid algae from the rocks?
@AquaAndScape3 ай бұрын
thank you for your interest :) unfortunatly i didn't record the building process, but on my insta @aqua.and.scape you can see the tank right after planting and you can see how the rock structures are build up much better :) I do actually get algae on the rocks and you can see a it a little bit in the video. 1,5 month before i even got a lot of hair algae on the rocks. The reason for this was that my Co2 ran out when i was away for 2 weeks. This threw of the balance in my tank. But as long as the tank is balanced (light, nutrition, plant to fish ratio) i usually get next to no algae. Balance is king :D I have more time for this channel now. So starting in the next weeks there will be more build videos of aquascapes and terarrium scapes :)

Damn I will not trim tank like this ❤😂 Just bought pinnatifida Any tips for that plant please 🙏
@AquaAndScape4 ай бұрын
haha :D the pinnatifida grows like a pest :D it´s already sending out new runners. there is not much to say about the plant. Its quite a fast and easy grower. Of course it benefits a lot of Co2 and fertilizer. Under strong light it will get it's red color. If you cut it a lot it will grow more like a carpeting plant, but if you let it grow it will get high and have a palm tree aethetic :)
@yashtapase38214 ай бұрын
@@AquaAndScape I have issue on hair algae on existing plants So I don't want on my pinnatifida also What should i do in your opinion
@AquaAndScape4 ай бұрын
@@yashtapase3821 Its hard to say without knowing your tank. If you have a algae problem it will most likely also affect the pinnatifida. Check you parameter: How strong is the light and how long? What are the water parameters? Is something out of balance? Do you have co2? What Temperature? How many fast growing plants are in the tank? Are there to many fish? If all parameters are good you can use easy carbo to spottreat the hair algae. But if something is out of balance it will just come back
