Following, very interested in the process and final product for my own truck. If you're going to go with a rivet option for the window piece, why not just build the entire door in aluminum? Also the X is a rigidity feature so having the second piece of material is aesthetically pleasing, but pressing or rolling the X (embossing it) into the door would make more sense and cut down on material and weight.

I’m here, just severely late! I’m back on the 68 build this weekend after about 3 month hiatus.

I have a question I am working on a 69 Camaro . I'm having trouble lining up my existing roof with my. Rear quarter panel so at the top where the window and the roof meet the rear quarter panel. I have pictures and videos, but I don't know how to share it with you .

Love the channel. Just two comments.... 1) Because you have a high bilirubin count and if you've had it for quite a while them them test for Gilbert's Syndrome. I'm 64 and have ALWAYS tested high for bilirubin. At some point a DR figured out I have Gilbert's. I hasn't changed the way I live but others have worse symptoms than I do. What I notice the most is my cheeks look flushed when it flares up. Good luck, feeling crappy all the time is not way to live. 2) I'm am no sheet metal expert but do you believe using body panel adhesive is an alternative to welding where it's difficult or impossible?

Hey Jubee. I wrote a long question before but decided to delete it, simplify it and post again. I'm replacing the entire outer cowl sections on my car. I didn't take a picture from the inside before I took it apart. It seems like there's a place where it kind of of wants to be, the margin looks even between the matching hole on the hinge pillar, and the lines from the old seam sealer kind of match up with the new panel, but I'm not sure it's correct. Can you show, maybe on the next live stream, what the reference is to know the outer cowl is in the right place?

Just bought a parts car so I could get the hinge pillar I needed. Car's coming here this weekend.

I would go get the CT scsn. Long story but it starts 6 months ago with low iron on a blood test. Drs thought I may hsve had internal bleeding. I botched a colonoscopy so they orded a CT scan. CT scan showed a mass on my left kidney. 6 weeks ago they removed it. I've been back to work to for three weeks and feel better than ever.

I would strip the whole thing clean up the rust. Who ever painted it did not have a very good filtration system which allowed the moisture in with the paint and if not taking care of will continue to blaster the paint and rusted the body of the car. So yes I would like I said strip the whole car down prep it and reprime and repaint it the right way. You can do it with God on your side. SSIG -(Stay Strong In God) and with FIP -(Faith In Prayer) Everything else will work out.

Jubee, I’m ready for help with mine. Time to install the full trunk, mini tubs, full floor, firewall, and side cowls. Then send the RS SPEC chassis off to powder coat and get the 67 back on the road.

I have a 68 camaro on a frame jig car is down to skeleton.im in process of installing new parts from amd I have the trunk pan in and square and the floor pan in and square but my firewall is fitting snug on pass side but driver side is just barely overlapping the firewall lip but yet all my measurements are the same side to side kinda scratching my head don’t know what I need to do to make right any ideas . The firewall looks like the driver side is bowed in and leans back so cowl has about an inch before it touches if I push top of firewall in to cowl it angles back into car not level up and down any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love your show got a lot of info for my build from you ty

Can you elaborate a little on the jack system that you have on the corners of the jig? What parts did you use, and where to find them? Also, is your dad going to do pins and bushings and if so how much$$, and how to get them. Thanks!
