I called my Hyundai dealer (Crain) for a price to replace the front door latch actuator assembly, on a Tucson. They couldn't help me.

Any know where to get the plastic pin/clip for the top of the access flap? Like others have mentioned, mine is being extremely difficult to put back in.
@hyundaihowto5 күн бұрын
You can find a clip set and tools for about $10 on Amazon
@lrojeda19716 күн бұрын
where do you get the repair kit to fix the bright lights?
@hyundaihowto5 күн бұрын
This is a recall from hyundai. If brights aren't working you need to replace the assembly, the kit won't help.

I did this and was able to move the seat back up to a more comfortable position, but it only worked once, and now I’m back to the switch not reclining forward

Just a heads up. I'm doing this job at work right now and figured I'd try the shortcut of bending the high pressure line since i have a replacement line on hand according to service info. In trying to bend that line and pump out of the way, the connection to the fuel rail actually loosened. No biggie since i planned on replacing it and wasn't really into the idea of bending the line. But to those of you who try to bend the line, take a good look at the fuel rail connection and make sure it doesn't come loose.

Excellent vid Huge thanks!!! Is this also applicable to the 2019 Hyundai TUscon as I am experiencing a very similar noise.

Thank you very much for sharing this knowledge. I highly appreciate the information. I’m from asia region, owning a Hyundai santa fe 2014 crdi. Same issues with the seat couldn’t recline forward. The balls are not in place and some corroded terminal. I scrap it just like the video and put it back on and it works. Thank god! If not the Hyundai centre would cost me a lot.

Just finished fixing both doors on the driver side, 2017 Hyundai Tuscan. Got part numbers off the parts removed and found them on Amazon for ~$70 each. Can't image what the dealership would have charged. Nothing really difficult to do. The video steps you through what you need to know. Actually, hard to mess up. Thanks for posting. Greetings from Colorado!

Is this the same part that would cause a squeaking noise not a rubbing noise but a squeaking noise when you get almost to the end of a steering wheel lock it does it mainly when it’s humid outside on a 2019 Hyundai Tucson SEL all-wheel-drive
@hyundaihowto13 күн бұрын
Not likely. I've never heard squeaking from it.

what failed that required the entire harness to be replaced, instead of a section of it? good luck thanks for the hard work and posting. Don't forget to post turning it on for the first time..

I didn't ask way it needed it. I didn't diagnosis it. Just said all the light on the dash are on. And i got stuck replacing it. The floor harness is one section.

Thank you for saying "I'm always looking for an oil pan leak, which is usually right around here." That tipped me off to the source of the leak when I went to do a first oil change and found oil all over the place. At first I thought it was a loose drain plug but because of your comment I looked more and found oil all over that seam.
