What happened to Pamela Franklin? One would think she'd have a Elizabeth Taylor/Jodie Foster/Christian Bale-like career- a brilliant child actor who was able to transition to A-list adult roles. Yet it didn't happen. Within five years of this film, she was doing schlocky TV films and then guest appearances on shows like "Fantasy Island" before quitting acting.

Sarah Jane should never have had to choose. She was Bi-Racial. Sarah Jane was White and Black. On today’s Census Sarah Jane could mark White or Black. She looked White therefore, live your life as White.

I was awestruck in 1969 when I first saw this film and now as an old man of 74 that feeling has never left me. Maggie Smith and the entire cast are a masterclass of acting! Maggie"s Jean Brodie is performance is at the TOP of one of the greatest portrayals in the history of cinema!

Mrs. Annie Johnson **Tried her BEST** to tell the Truth and to Raise Sarah Jane with Dignity and Self-Respect. Those two things were in Short Supply back in those days, and even STILL today. Sadly, not many People have the Courage to Stop being Molded by the Madness and Racism of this WorLd. It takes Strength, DIVINE Strength from the One True God to do so 🙏🏽🦋💐🌹💕❤️

Sad to say , but some people today are living their lives imitating others. Not being who God made them to be.

I love Angela Landsbury and great to see her perform a song from Throughly Modern Mille, but I do have to say that Julie Andrews really made it hers in the film. I would love to see a new production of this But who could fll those shoes, I don't know.

The first time I ever saw this movie was in 1968.. I was 6 at the time, and my Mother, a beautiful blonde actress, and entertainer, had passed away only months before. Watching with my older teenage Sister at the end, my other Sister, one year older than I were brought to tears, crying 'Why did Mama have to die'..?. I have never forgotten it

I first saw this movie when I was in the 8th grade. My grandmother wanted Me to see it. It was just as powerful then as it is now. It just made Me love & cherish My mother even more. This movie brings tears to my eyes especially when Ms. Mahalia Jackson sings "Sooner We'll Be Done With The Troubles of The World". Every child should see this movie and honor the love from their mother while she's still here.❤
