You know.. maybe because I am older and understand that all computers can fail. Maybe because I like very mechanical things with the least amount computer input. I understand completely mechanical items fail all the time. Still, I don’t like the idea not having the immediate option to control it. This technology has been used in aircraft for a long time and it’s pretty amazing. The sky is still less crowded today than every minor city in the world. So I’ll say thanks but no thanks. Call me crazy but I like low tech better. My bike is has a carburetor and is 25 years old. I can maintain it with very little tools, fuel and oil. I can feel and hear when something is off. I just don’t like this stuff. If it was on a closed road of their own with no other human drivers or real world items. Similar to a train track set up. Then okay but until then. Nope.

I used one of these kits on a Ford Edge.... one headlight was FAR worse than the other. One required no sanding, and the other needed two rounds to make it match the first one. Is it "new" looking??? not quite, but at 5 feet away, it looks close to new.

You should always use epoxy grout in showers and baths.

Much faster to use a grinder with a tile blade. Goes through grout like butter.

I have the same faucet but the leak is around the handle. Any idea how to pull the handle apart? There isn’t a screw.

Heads Up: After determining that the motor was not turning, I saw that the two white cables supplying 110V to the motor were only twisted around and not soldered to the motor connectors and were somewhat loose. I soldered both connections and everything was fine. I don't know if this was a manufacturing defect or just a careless design. Fortunately, I did not have to buy a new one.

If the pump is working properly but hums superloud during season startup, could this also be the capacitor? The capacitor doesnt seem hot but the motor is hot, but pumping freely.

Thank you SO MUCH, especially for the explanation about using a replacement that is a little bit different than the original. 1-1/2 hp Jandy pool pump motor suddenly just hums loudly. Old Capacitor: 25 UF +/-6% 370 VAC (2 terminals). New capacitor: 30+5 MFD +/-5% 440/370 VAC (3 terminals) Local Ace Hardware had it on the shelf. Otherwise I would have driven 25 or 45 miles to one or both of the nearest pool supply places. Tried calling but they don't answer, and I'm not fond of ordering on-line. I took it to the local electric motor place, but they don't work on anything that small. They did confirm for me that i had tested it correctly using my multimeter. They also tested it using their own equipment, and it was definitely bad. The guy suggested, "Ace Hardware sometimes carries them," which I had already explored. They had 1 or 2 that came close, but I was set on an exact replacement at that point. However, having later watched most of your video, I picked the guys brain a little about it being ok to use a replacement with slightly different microfareds - but only higher UF, NOT lower, and only SLIGHTLY higher. 👍 MUCH APPRECIATION!

Dang it, my super drain at the bottom tube arent connected at two 90 degree angles. Top is fine. Might try to connect a balloon at the corners and then add concrete filler around. Then some other material to connect them. Of course theres structure damage with patio sinking and cracks in brick flooring, patio cover ceiling and one crack going into house. Damn Florida cheapskate ripoff contractors. Every contractor hired here in Florida has tried to scam. Gotta keep multiple cameras and hidden ones!
