Something seems fishy about all of this...

Not sure if I missed it but is this a high res audio song, and also is the phone capable of high res? Not to mention the audio player and whatever the equipment between the phone and speakers. In all 3 models I can hear a distortion in the high end. The S series use silkdome and don’t normally screech but I’ve found the R’s to do it in some installs. Not knocking the video. Thanks for the comparison as it helps us buyers make choices without having to buy them! Also not everyone may be using all high res gear so this would also be helpful for a general setup!

Could you tell me if your car is a 2023 model? I don't see the hole in your video where the tweeter they no longer put in. I'm interested in Hepaking Alpine EV-40MT dash speakers with a tweeter. But if Tesla filled the hole up then I will get the same package as yours. Thank you.

All this shows is effectively the upper frequency limit of the bass drivers. These are designed as part of a system, with a crossover and tweeter. This is like choosing a sports car based on redline and little else.

I am very much interested in this set up. I did your Alpine 13 speaker upgrade and it does sound much better. But i feel as though the 2 stock amplifiers are lacking. So this will definitely be next. Just wondering if your wiring harness would work on a 2020 Model 3 Preformance?

Will this work on a left side driver 2020 Model 3 Preformance? I reasently upgrated all the speakers and sub including the rear doors and the rear deck speakers with your amazing Alpine kits and i would very much love to make this upgrade as well.

Totally ridiculous, every speaker will sound different in every other car. The car and the install makes the biggest difference, not the speaker.

you always test speakers without tweeters. thats not a speaker comparison !!!!!!!!! absolute dislike.

The alpine sub definitely sounds cleaner, hits harder and lower than the stock sub, but it’s not a drastic change. It’s perfect if you want better sound quality but it’s not going to blow your mind. I noticed the biggest change by adding the focal 8” door speakers. That made a huge difference being the rms power matched up perfectly.

Is this a DSP with stock speakers or with your Alpine speakers as well ?

Read the front of each box. One handles 80 rms and one handles 100 rms. Jeez

I only ordered the subwoofer kit from you, and I am extremely pleased. I am not sure if I will upgrade the other seven speakers, however I can honestly say the subwoofer alone made a HUGE improvement in my system. I may upgrade the rest one day, but kudos to you for the time you spent on trials and listening to various speakers to get the best experience possible. Great job.

Fiberglass cloth cones on the r-series will not last very long if you push them hard!! In this test he is using his iPhone or Android as signal which is nothing but Distortion to begin with so this is a completely erroneous test and is subjective to The Listener only.. .
