The Navy does not March. My son is a POET currently posted to HMAS Dechaineux. He has been in the RAN for 30years and is quite happy with not marching.

okay. let's say you have 1 pound cake. You cut the cake in half. You have two 0.5 pound cake. Now let's say a person needs 0.5 pound cake to satisfy his hunger. So you gave the 0.5 pound cake to him. So you successfully distributed half into half and satisfied 1 person's hunger. It's not a perfect analogy but this us the best I could come up with and it should satisfy the answer
@oscarsheen30452 ай бұрын
Yes, it’s a good enough analogy. And of course the answer is 1 because anything divided by itself is = to 1. But, it’s worth thinking, that in so far asa word problem is concerned, if we halved 1 cake and then halved it again it would be 1/4 pieces, visually that makes sense. But if we distribute half a cake, then divide it by 2, the 2nd person get half of half a cake. Haha. That’s why I find it funny. Thanks for your comment.

That's a female Superior Fairy wren...the male has bright blue plumage o his head and in season will have 4 or 5 of these ladies chasing him.

Fairy wrens usually hold their tail more upright. The footage is not clear, but if it's not a honey eater of some sort, I am guessing it's an LBJ

It’s a rainbow lorikeet.. they are spreading all over Australia which is not a good thing. Yes they are native but not to Victoria or WA.. they are super aggressive- worse than the introduced Indian mynah which takes over all the hollow logs in old trees .

Great video. Considering everything that had been taught prior to exercise 9-15 (3rd edition), what's your opinion on its difficulty? I personally find it difficult.
@oscarsheen304510 ай бұрын
Hi Taylor, I think Python becomes easier to understand as one gets more into classes, methods, modules. In hindsight, I think that the Crash Course book could be a lot better. If I were to write a book, I'd half the size of Crash Course and then insert more of OOP. That, for me at least, was when OOP started to come together. There was too much empasis on syntax. This risks new programmers being bogged down on syntax, rather than OOP - which, in my opinion, is when the fun starts (or not). Thanks for the question.

2:40 is that a reflection of something?
@oscarsheen304510 ай бұрын
No, it’s not a reflection. The darker line of water is caused by the wind pushing water over a very slight decline in the bitumen road; some cool patterns emerge intermittently.

The books not as good as I’d thought. I’d rate it 3/5 nowadays. It lacks explanations of modules and, really, how object oriented programming differs from the other types. It was a good beginners books but I felt that given it’s volume, more could have been covered without adding pages. I’d still recommend it, only just, though. I don’t have any other recommendations off hand.

Maybe google "shortcut key for <insert your Integrated Development Environment here e.g. Sublime Text or Visual Studio>". Reads like you might want to figure out how to RUN the program through the IDE you're using. Hope this helps.
