Great to see some UK footage. 2 requests, given that you edit to reduce periods of no action, could you give the viewer chance to hear what is going on outside the car. Most of the enjoyment of watching storms is hearing the thunder, If you have to remain the car, if you open the window on the lea side of the rain, we the viewer can hear what's going on, without being deafened by the rain

Nice job. There's a little know Rule of Nature that is the lightning bolt will come down the second you move your camera's viewpoint. The music is very nice! The sunset was stunning!

I remember being in elementary school in east nashville. It was Cora Howe Elementary. They had us go to the halls an pray. I remember leaving my homework outside the day before and going to the playground to pick it up while noticing the sky was kinda green. When it struck east nashville, it missed the schools. But hit the neighborhood all around. I remember hearing hearing the roar of the wind and the darkness.

As someone in Dublin, Ireland this June hasn't been the best for thunderstorms with hit or miss, low CAPE setups usually consisting of 200 j/kg at best. Saturday to my west waw a thunderstorm but the apartment complexes around me block visibility so i couldn't chase them either way. My only good thunderstorm this year was a unexpected night one with heavy rain, then lightning and thunder at night. Hoping i can get something or this 20C burst of temps soon on Wed/Thur can provide CAPE around here. I wish to see a storm like this!

Probably the best storm I’ve seen/heard was in Mallorca a few years ago. It came in from the sea and went in land, bounced off one of the mountains and came right back over us. We got a double-hit from the same storm that night

Come here to Atlanta, Georgia or Florida, especially South Florida, and you'll see some incredibly severe thunderstorms. I've actually heard lightning when it hits something or the ground, followed immediately by explosive thunder, and talk about a jump scare!
@heatherstub
@heatherstub 2 ай бұрын
I know you love to talk. It helps me to a degree, because I'm totally blind, so your lightning descriptions are spot-on! The thunder also talks. I love the way the storm builds up as it approaches. Then it continues to crescendo as the main event makes itself clear. Great, great, great job! I know how hot it gets in Dubai, too, and those massive floods they just experienced were really devastating. Let's hope they don't sink back into the Persian Gulf.

Right at about 17:14, the audio from your camera disappears from the right speaker/headphones, and I can only hear you in the left ear as the music plays.

Fantastic video! Love the audio quality, too. Keep up the great work.

Did you use a different camera when you captured this? It's probably good as far as the video goes, but I'm totally blind, and I really pay attention to the audio quality. This is too narrow or compressed, unlike the video you covered later; the one where the right speaker sound keeps fading out. Otherwise, I can tell you both really love what you do, so keep up the great work! I love storms, and I'd love to ride with a storm chaser who really knows what he or she is doing. It's all about safety first, and getting those amazing audio/video "shots" and sounds. I'd love to hear you just film an amazing thunderstorm without any talking, but I also know you and I can't help it when we hear that massive thunderclap! Of course, you see the lightning first, so it warns me of what's to come, too. Again, thanks for doing what you're doing, because it really matters!

Fantastic video. At around 13:35 or so, the audio drops out of the right speaker, and I wonder if it was me, but when I checked another audio track, I have both speakers on and the headphones work. I'm not sure when it comes back, but you'll be able to tell when you have a listen. So sorry. Anyway, please keep making these videos whenever you can, because I can tell you're really good at what you do! Great work!
