@@classzedits I'm trying to use my zv-e10 with the gimbal but with an external display mounted to the side of the gimbal. When I'm connecting the USB to control the camera I have a black screen on the external screen, when I'm disconnecting the USB cable I can't control the Camera but the screen works normal

hi. use the gimbal's original short type c cable (one end at 90 degrees and one straight like what i showed). the 90 degree end goes to the RSS port located at the rear side of the tilt arm. the straight end of the usb type c goes to the camera.

thank you for appreciating. t'was just a simple video, but the idea to animate PPT objects and text using morph transition is a game changer, not only for PPT presentations but also for video editing. export my PPTs to video and add it to my projects. cuts down editing time.

hi. best to start mastering the DJI app first because for the gimbal all you have to do is to connect it to the camera. everything else is done through the DJI mobile app. i'll try to follow up this video to show how to use the app. thanks by the way for reaching out.

how about the camera settings? for the gimbal, all needed is to connect it to the camera with the correct cable. everything else is in the camera (settings). or if you covered the settings, perhaps the camera is already turned on before you switch on the gimbal. it's important that the gimbal is switch on first, before the zv e10.

honestly, if i can buy another ronin gimbal, it'll be rs3 or rs3 mini. but since older versions are cheaper to buy, yes, sc is still one of the best choices. but then again, latest versions are better if you have the money.

not sure at this point since i only have cables that came with the gimbal. but i searched online for similar issues, and it seems like, yes, the guys said it only worked after buying another cable from dji. someone also said he/she took apart the original broken cable and found 6 cores (standard 4 cores for usb-c) and said that could be the difference.

hi. thanks for dropping by in my simple hobby channel. i get your point. it should have been better if the app is using the camera (dslr) for tracking the subject so that the lens is pointed directly to us and we're properly framed, instead of the phone's camera which is i think 4 inches above the camera lens (not to mention the phone's lens is off to the side). but unfortunately, the app doesn't work that way. it only uses the phone camera while controlling the record button on the actual camera.

@@classzedits Seems like a really simple app code change would fix this. It's just a matter of selecting which camera. Does the app currently let you switch between front and back camera? That's no different than using an external UVC camera.

hi. i'm using my ronin sc both as camera gimbal and phone gimbal. and as a phone gimbal, you can do active tracking with just your phone (no camera necessary). as long as you're using the dji app installed on your phone as your camera app.

hi, carl. i appreciate your comment. honestly i'm still trying to learn how to improve my setup (audio and lighting). in this video if i remember it correctly i got that lapel mic connected to my phone (used as my camera). i now have a sony zv e10, and a maono au-cm10 shotgun mic used as a boom mic on a mic stand. but im also trying to learn how to fix audio recordings in premiere pro but it's hard.

check mo po lahat ng settings procedure or required for the camera as discussed, tapos kung ano ang unang io-on (gimbal or yung camera). also make sure to use the correct cable that came with the gimbal.

ahmm... wait. bluetooth po? tethered po tayo sa procedure na to using one of the cables with type c on both ends.

hi. the rrs port is on one of the arms of the gimbal. i don't have the gimbal with me right now but i believe its on the tilt arm. also the camera is zv e10, but regardless what camera you have as long as it's supported by ronin sc it'll be the same steps.

also use the short cable with type c on both ends, one end straight, the other at 90 degrees. the 90 degrees end goes to the rrs port on the gimbal (located on the tilt arm)

so sorry po. sobrang late reply kasi grabe na naman sched natin due to return to normal school schedule. pero sagutin ko parin po para makatulong for future reference. yung 2 2 po ay katulad lang din po ng 4 4. yung top number 2, tells ilan ang laman ng isang measure (dalawa lang or katumbas ng dalawa). yung 2 naman sa ibaba ay kung anong beat yung bawat isa at ito ay ang half note with the value of 2 beats. so, for example pag 2 2... sa isang measure dalawang beat ang ilalagay, tapos bawat isa half note ang nakalagay (or katumbas ng 2 beats). ginagamit po ang 2 2 madalas kapag mabilis ang tugtog para mas tunog pino kasi 2 beats lang, kesa yung 4 beats sa 4 4 na parang ang daming tunog (imagine counting 2 beats, compared to couting 4 beats).

hi. just to make sure i got this right. is your question how to zoom in and out using ronin sc with the phone as your camera? unfortunately no option or feature for that one because ronin sc is not actually meant as a phone gimbal. in fact, even with actual cameras, you will need to buy that dji focus wheel and that wheel only works with power zoom lenses (lenses that can zoom in out remotely).

sorry po, hindi ako naka-reply agad. sobrang late. depende po sa nginig. yun bang tipong as in vibration talaga? recalibration lang po sya. sa dji ronin app auto calibrate po para sya na mismo ang mag-adjust ng parameters.
