I’m not being biased. It’s truly much better at Nam Vang Philadelphia. Very flavorful and exactly what Phnom Penh noodles should be.

We’re doing well. Will definitely be coming back to Long Beach and stay longer to discover California. We only stay 3 days in LA and leaving for Vegas for 5 days.

I live in Long Beach for 9 years and this is the only noodle restaurant that fit my taste because they don’t use ប៊ីចេង that’s why you feel plain ឯកន្លែងផ្សេងៗគេប្រើប៊ីចេងពេក ខ្ញុំញុំាហើយ គឺឈ្លេមមាត់ណាស់

Where we’re from on the East coast USA, never heard of restaurants closed down for a day or early as 3pm. The earliest small restaurant closing time we have seen here is 8pm

I'm a resident in Long Beach. Phnom Penh noodle used to taste good when original owner and original chief still alive. They all gone and now new generation takes over with new chief and the noodle soup tastes different. You can try noodles at Hak Heang restaurant. I like noodles, It tastes better.

@@somalykhmercookinglifestyl6001 I like foods at Hak Heang restaurant more than other places. Before covid, I usually don't like foods at Hak Heang either. But now after covid, It looks like they change owner and chief and the foods tastes better. Compare foods at Odom with Hak Heang, I still like foods at Hak Heang. If you want to try more authentic Khmer foods for lunch and dinner like somlor kor ko, proh hok or other regular Khmer foods, you can try Sofi or Crystal restaurant.

You're early! Restaurant Week in Long Beach starts on the 9th. (Cambodia Town had their restaurant 1st week in June.) Hope you found a good donut shop. 😋

I admit the kitchen area is not that clean . Wat Khmer Palelai has beautiful temple, beautiful statues and beautiful laid out but they neglected the kitchen area , the back building. They need to renovate the kitchen with close glass indoors that way it will prevent the flies and mosquitoes in the Summer.

It is for prayer only. The temple is a place to gather all the citizens for any big event such as New Year, Phachum Ben , Katina , flowers fundraising, etc…..
