Love onigiri to snack on when trekking. But still can't make them by myself. It looks easy in the video but mine always fall apart. I use freshly cooked short grain, Japanese rice, and I don't understand why my onigiri don't stick.

What is the point of boiling the meat before hand??? I would brown the sides first...You going to braise it for hours... Ok so you collect the extra fat...

So its not really a stew, there is just barely enough liquid to cook the ingredients. I will still try this but add more water so its like a soup.
