my only gripe with adding in Ukraine is the non standardization of the UAF at the moment and with mods you can add alot more then what OWI would be willing to, for instance Ukraine use the BMP1 BMP2 Bradly CV90 Marder and more thas just IFV's now what MBT do they get T-64's or M1A1's or Leopards or t-72's so many options there is no way they could make even a percentage of the player base happy. So from a game dev standpoint anything pre invasion full scale makes more sense (pre 2021 lets say). saying that imo it was just a community manager farming interactions. SLAVA UKRAINi!!

Perkele! Check out probably the best war movie of all time from 2017 known as Tuntematon Sotilas in Finnish (The Unknown Soldier). It's on KZfaq with subtitles and covers the Continuation War until the armistice. It's the hands-down the best war movie I've ever seen, and I've seen 'em all.

I don't really think it's appropriate to add Ukraine. Knowing the squad community and how edgy it is, I foresee many issues, especially with people who have personal feelings towards the conflict. I personally have lost a friend over there, and it's irritating enough to listen to teenagers and even adults talking nonsense.

If you're talking about Global Escalation, the recent update broke a few layers. It's causing issues where only 20 or so people actually load in while the rest are staring at the loading screen in limbo. Very frustrating and we're trying to find layers that work, so hopefully it's a short term problem.

I kind of like those titles it adds flavor and intrigue I would prefer to watch something that says it's a masterful ambush or a well coordinated landing vs random battle between two factions.

@@MoiDawgMay I suggest treating it like a logline of a film script or the back cover of a book. Premise/setting + goal + complication - resolution. So, find the point at which the battle appears to be at a turning point and describe everything up to there but not beyond. For example: “Russian airborne assault faces determined Finnish defenders in Manicouagan (GE).”
