To answer your question, Spiderface, I still have caches I have solved that I will NEVER go and look for, so the answer is: infinity. Someone boffed that terrain rating for the canoe cache.

It is possible to canoe to it if you go the intended route. I am not sure if the trail I took to it from the apartment complex is a private trail or "no trespassing" area because there was no warning signs up. Anyways, I am not going to complain. Why will you never go for those caches that you solved?

Great to get an easy 5 terrain and great to fill another Fizzy space. Unfortunately we missed the souvenir this year as we were travelling and just couln't get one along the way.

I only found one cache on International Geocaching Day. Now for the question about the longest time between a puzzle solve and the find, it was 12 years for me. Said puzzle is one I solved in 2009 and was sadly archived a few years later. However, I had heard at an event that the cache owner in question would archive his caches without picking them up. So I realized that this one puzzle was near where I was going one day and spotted it in it's hiding spot, and was able to log it as found.

I have my cache hides pretty close to home so I can get to them quickly if I need to check on them. This park is not too far away from where we live so I can get to it with no problem. The only two caches I have... or had troubles maintaining were these two since I would have to walk up that hill to get to them. The one in the tree was the worst because cachers would put it back in complete different spots in the tree.

Enjoyed your video. I have always wanted to hike and cache to Monte Cristo. Long drive from Okanogan and I was concerned about a log crossing with my dog over a river. Pretty tame hike, nothing concerning for a husky. Still on my list.

If you check my prior MC hike videos you can see that even with the log crossing, it was doable. We had a dog with us on our third hike and it crossed that log just fine. Now, as you can see from this video, the log crossing has changed. You just need to find the little crossing spot that I showed here (it's 20 to 30 feet north of the old log). That might change as the river keeps changing the terrain. Hopefully you can make the hike. It's beautiful and well worth it (and full of geocaches!!!!).

Sony's are the worst with not only the built-in light they put in them but at the IR pickup in general. My canon is far brighter, even the Panasonic's with IR do way better. Also the Colorado para tech Ghostlight 20 is way brighter and less overpriced than this junk.

Had limited signal in camp but your video came through. Nice to see all we didn't do. New that the caches going up would tire me out so was laying low. The hike started my weight loss program. Since early July now down 14 pounds! Thanks for the fun outing.

Loved the fog in the trees. Always makes a walk in a forest beautiful. It's a pain when you get somewhere and the views not there. I have walked a famous trail here twice and never seen the view that everyone talks about.

You might have mentioned it in Part 1 but what is the ferry ride like? Cost? Easy? Pain? Your wife looks funny. DNFs happen. That tower sure looked creepy.When you get to the counties near Spokane remember we are only 2 hours from the border. We could come down and cache with you.

I think it was $25+ to get the ferry ride westbound. Heading eastbound is FREE! The ride was fun and uneventful. Lots of cool views and everything. I would recommend it in the off season. Funny thing is that I already finished off all those other counties last summer. That is how far behind I am on these videos. These 2 Orcas videos were filmed in December 2022. :P Thanks for watching!

These are really awesome. I loved the camo on the first one. The mausoleum is just a little spooky. To answer your question, pretty sure the answer is never because there has only been one time my wife was with me while I went for a geocache and it was a park and grab when we stopped for lunch on vacation travels. But it could happen for sure. Now a Munzee, that's different as she watched me being questioned by mall security as I was sneaking around the light poles😂.

I was really surprised by it. I had never heard about it until we were on the ferry heading up there. I was in a Discord chat with some people and I mentioned I was heading to the island. One of the people I was talking to mentioned this mausoleum and said I HAD to check it out. I looked it up on online and thought it warranted a visit since it had some caches near it. I was surprised by how cool it was to see in real life! :O

We were looking at the counties of Washington and noticed those islands. That's what makes Washington a little more difficult to get all of the counties. We stopped in two counties on our way back from the CAA cache just so we could hit two additional ones. For so many years we haven't paid much attention, other than Ontario, to getting counties.

is there a functional implemenation for android auto?

I am not sure. Would be cool though if there was a way to do it. I have a friend that has Android Auto in his new car. I will need to see how it works. The only thing that I know will work (since we did this last year) is using Geooh Go and cfinding a cache and then clicking the Navigation option which then turns on the Navigation in the car.
