Hi I'm new to this channel I totally agree with every word you said I had a few capris when I was younger from a 1.3 2.0 2.8i & the mighty 3.0s absolutely brilliant cars All ford are doing in ruining their history If your going to bring a legend car name back at least make it a good f***ing car The problem is & I do believe this That the government want most car manufacturers to use the same few car designs as in the shell but just make alterations to like bumpers & lights etc to make them there own & this petrol diesel crap happening really doesn't help I have always owned a ford since my 1st ever car But now I honestly wouldn't buy a new ford even if you paid for it. Would love the opportunity to speak with you or meet up for a coffee to share our views cos I have many lol

Ive had a few cars from the 70s and 80s. The build quality was poor and rust buckets compared to nowadays. But the 1983 Escort XR3i was fun to drive.

In Australia the Ford Capri was brought out as a convertible sports car. The roof could come off it. Early 1990's here. I was attracted to them for my first car because of the sports look with convertible roof. Apparently though the reviews said they did have a lot of mechanical issues and weren't looked upon as being any good. But I do remember the Ford Capri coming out yes here in Australia. Not sure if it was just the Australian version that had a convertible roof.
