Il panzer IV, con cannone lungo da 75 mm, aveva vita relativamente facile contro il T34 76 e lo Sherman M4 dotato di cannone da 75 mm corto, ma quando il T34 fu armato di cannone da 85 mm a canna lunga e pure lo Sherman americano ed Il Fireflay inglese di pezzo da 75 mm lungo la situazione csmbio' radicalmente, con l' adozione da parte tedesca del panzer V Panther come carro medio pesante e del semovente Stug con cannone lungo da 75. Il panzer VI Tiger, lo. Jagd Panther, il SU 100, lo Stalin 2, appartengono ad una altra cayehoris

Contro il SU 100 o il JS 2, le cose sarebbero andate diversamente, rispetto ad un T34 76 isolato.

Il Ferdinand e' stato presente anche sul fronte italiano, nel Lazio nella zona di Cassino e per contrastare lo sbarco ad Anzio nel Marzo del 1944.

I only really button up when I see tracer come towards me, like machinegun fire for example, especially in the Tiger its quite rare to be killed by secondary fragmentation from bouncing shells, the Panther for example has that issue, when a shot bounces off your frontal plate you can run the danger of getting hit. Also another reason why I rarely button up is the visibility, in IL-2 99% of tank crew servers are exclusively First Person only, and with the "Mail slot" style vision Slits of the H1 the visibility is rather lackluster when buttoned up.

PAK 43/L 71 88mm , to nawet na dystansie 3900 metrów . Był w stanie zniszczyć Shermana, lub T 34.

Great video! Shows the awesome power of the L/71 88mm! Excellent long range shooting. This is what the Ferdinand was designed for. No tank can withstand a hit from that 88! Keep them coming!

Its YT auto Detect, i sadly cant change it. This False Catigorization actually happens quite a lot with IL-2 Great Battles Tank Crew Content.
