Wrong. Because it was carried in another fashion does not mean it was not DESSIGNED to be carried cocked and locked. Bean counters and pencil pushers were the reason it was mostly carried with the chamber empty by the military.

Been shooting a swift for many years. Custom build on Winchester pre 64 action. Shilen 26 " bull barrel was first replacement after original barrel , got probably 4000 shots through it before accuracy fell apart. Going in shortly for 3rd barrel. When we need a rifle to get a job done accurately and decisively, the swift is the operational choice. Mostly used during culling and have shot all manner of game from Cape Eland downwards. It has been in my family 3 generations. Thanks for your video. Greetings from South Africa.

Would you rather them just drill your safe and destroy it? If they want in, they'll get in. There is nothing we can or will be able to do to stop a law enforcement agency with a warrant. No gun "safe" on the market is impenetrable. Liberty saved themselves a warranty claim on a break in, and that individual a destroyed safe.

Since the barrel is fixed on this pistol, do you need to use a booster on the silencer? Also, did you get a lot of port pop when shooting suppressed?

Technically no, you do not need a booster. I was told a fixed barrel adaptor was the best way to attach a silencer to a Hi-Point. No more port pop than usual on any other pistol.

You'd have to be a little bit crazy to shoot 357's out of the Kimber. The fact that the Kimber is capable of shooting the 357 cartridge is probably just a selling point. I wouldn't recommend it, but that's just me. The Kimber is a great size and weight for possible EDC, not so much the other two. Most revolvers these days are ridiculously expensive. At least they aren't ammo sensitive and don't require a break-in period, a big plus. 👍

It has both a grip and frame mounted safety…it was build for condition one. All ways to make carrying with a round in the chamber safer. The whole notion of lowering the hammer on a gun with two different safeties to be more “safe” is retarded. Lowering a hammer is generally a risky practice, and for what? May as well carry without one in the chamber if you have to cock the hammer…and why even carry if the chambers empty. Condition one is an obvious winner.
