The Guandao these days isn't used primarily as a self defense weapon it's a beautiful art that trains attributes such as strength endurance, coordination, and agility. Even the sharpening of the blade trains focus, patience and precision. These qualities help with shooting, at least they do with me when I'm at the range or requalifying.

@@wizcoolc1 but you're saying that you "don't see BJJ or MMA guys doing", I'm just saying it's a waste of time if I'm doing MMA and have guns. I'm already doing all of that when I'm training MMA.

they vary in weight this one is around thirty five pounds, but it is much different than doing a bicep curt ,or some single movement. with the Shi suo you are using your entire body in complex movements in a prolonged routine. very different from the work out you would get at the gym.

That's definitely the worst case scenario-- that the military covered up for him. I'm unsure if he was military. He certainly showed remarkable stalking and evasion techniques. All those crimes and not one decent composite sketch. My hunch is he was wrongfully cleared....not that he was never suspected. Numerous ways he could've been wrongfully cleared.

So interesting to see the birthplace of martial arts! Thank you. We are seeking to unmask California's worst serial offender. He has evaded law enforcement for 40 years. He had stealth Ninja-like skills which he unfortunately used for evil not good. He also used backroads, river and forest trails to "become invisable."
