Hey, So I don't have the means to make these in any serious capacity so I ended up selling the file. You can buy/download the grille and then get it outsourced to a 3d printing service to get it made. I recommended craftcloud.com! You can save 10% off your order using this code > REFJMGDE7L5 and here is the link to the grille insert > cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/nissan-logo-insert-for-frontier-aftermarket-grille

I want to know if anyone has manipulated the internal design of the intake tube. I have a dumb idea of modeling the interior of the tube similar to the barrel of some guns. The thought is creating spin inside the tube just like causing spin on the bullet, maybe it becomes kinda like forced induction? Anyone reading this please let me know your thoughts
@EndMotive
@EndMotive Ай бұрын
I don't think i have seen it done with the length of the tube, but they make "swirl" plates that go either into the neck of the throttle body or behind the air filter to spin the air like you are saying...they usually add turbulence and hurt airflow, but a tube with smooth "rifling" transitions might be better than those.
@joshuameldru4004

I do it all in fusion 360. I create an offset plane every 120mm or so and then use that to divide the part and then manual create the dowels and then do a subtractive cut of the other half....hopefully that all made sense.

I mean, no doubt the VQ is going to make way more power than the L28 and be more fun in general. The only real downside is the sound, and that can be largely fixed with exhaust tuning. I have a 1984 Nissan S12 I want to engine swap in the future. Debating between a VQ or a rotary. After swapping a 13B into a BRZ for a friend, I think I need one in my life.
