Crazy how smm2 took away the ability to do real midairs. I would do like 6 midairs in a row back in smm1

I know right, I loved the trick so much back then from other people's levels that I put it in my SMM1 levels. I also miss when you could hold items and enemies while spinning in SMW in SMM1.

Really amazing boss do you mind explaining how the layer 2 manipulation is done, if u don't want to thats completely understandable, thanks in advance.

Hey sorry for the late reply, all the layer 2 movement in this boss is done manually, and it's based on a timer that gets reset at the start of each new phase. Phase 3 works slightly differently in that the up and down movement is based on the state of the on-off switch On = Falling Off = Rising. also in-between phase one and phase three I have the layer 2 scrolling behind the scenes so you don't have to wait too long for the layer 2 to appear in the last phase of the fight.
