Hopefully someday you or your mom or both will write a memoir about life before the documentation of this beautiful place with such lovely people. <3 THAT LOBSTER!!!! From a person who lived in the lobster capital of the USA, that is, indeed, a big boy.

In 2020, 21, and 22, in Northern USA (State of Maine) we had several birds that do not belong there- a Russian Eagle, some birds from the deep south, blown off course by hurricanes or global warming, or both. Anyway, hopefully the woodpecker was able to make his way to wherever he belongs and if not, that he found tasty snacks in the fence posts. I feed woodpeckers here in the Northeastern USA suet cakes. We are lucky enough to have five species that are common and one that is rare but still exists.

The amount of work your mum is doing leaves me awestruck. Here I was thinking they shear the sheep and bundle the wools and send them off somewhere. Wow. I am transfixed. <3

I am enjoying this so much. You are extremely fortunate. I lost my mother in 2003 and my father in 2009, and I never did video them. I sure wish I did.

What is the the reason you don’t have a working dog to help move the sheep around?
@hamishauskerry22 сағат бұрын
Hey there, thanks for your question! Our sheep are a wild breed so they don't care for the sheep dogs that much, and that annoys the dogs. We did have collies a long time ago but my parents decided not to replace the last one as they found it another thing to look after, and requires a lot of training, for little benefit to our flock. Thanks for watching!

I had such a big smile hearing the dramatic music with the filming of the King on top of the creel. Very nicely done! And for some reason, I am actually crying watching you let him go. I am so glad you got to see the fulfillment of your childhood dream and that he is still out there. Sending you and your family lots of love. 💙🌊🤗

A beautiful part of the world, you are very lucky to have such family and friends, and they to have yourself. It reminds myself of growing up in the valleys of Wales, strong bonds forged through shared hardship many today will have little idea of. Enjoy your small part of the world whilst you are able, you won’t find a better place. Best wishes.

Wow amazing folks you have Hamish! It would break my heart to leave that wonderful life behind, I was brought up to enjoy my own company so reading is a passion, knitting too when I’m in the mood, but seeing all that lovely wool, I would knit up a storm! A great store of memories for your mom to look back on if & when she has to leave, sad to see what dementia does to seniors who were once so vital & full of life! Stay well mom & dad, strength in the days, weeks, years ahead. Love from me in South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤❤❤

Most things out here can be taught and learned over time! My parents knew next to nothing when they came here in the 70s. If you go to isleofauskerry.com you'll see a section to contact my mum if you would like to help, they're always looking for help! Thanks for your support
