I never had this one back in the day but I did have the sequel on Amiga.. Got DV1 now though on ps4/5..In hindsight this style point n click seems much easier to follow than lots of their contemporaries.. I can never quite finish any of them however.. Ah maybe one day!

super old ofc but i'll put down a point anyways. the thing about grinding for cash is a lil funny cus the challenges are actually where the replayability and the cash comes from. the point made about boxer endurance being inconsistent and taking a lot more time to grind is nulled during challenges in particular where a single knockdown ends the fight.

I just started playing Fusion for the first time ever. I beat Super Metroid when I was a kid. Fusion is a very good sequel. Dread is in my top 3 Metroid games ever

The 'wrestler guy' in the Kunio game is a character that also appears in Shodai Nekketsu Koha Kunio-kun, he's meant to be a middle aged bodybuilder type, I think he's based on a kind of stereotype of the time in Japan of older men who are into fitness but don't realize they're too old to show off their bod and look strange as a result. His weird look is partially because he's hunched over as a result of his age.

Oh, and there are unused cutscene assets in the Double Dragon II version of the game, which show the actual moment of the murder and Billy's name written in blood, seemingly by the victim's hand. I assume they were cut due to being too violent for NOA, which is too bad because they are kinda important to the story.

I think this is one of the best soundtracks on the snes. I still find it basically unlistenable. The score still can't save the snes sound chip.

I almost get the feeling that they had that last voice sample at the end, but were nearly out of cartridge space, so bit crushed the living daylights out of it to make it fit. That, or the more likely issue was that the programming pulled the DPCM sample incorrectly.. Also, all these years (which, nice job, this was pretty well edited for that era of KZfaq), but none of the comments seem to have noticed the little OOPS at 12:50, you have the screen grabs swapped.
