The colors and patterns go together so well. I believe the black solid came from a CCC mystery box and was from an entirely different collection. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Sue, thanks for the question. I’m so glad that you find my tutorials easy to follow. I work hard at making my instructions clear so new mini album makers can follow them and try to go at a good pace so those more accomplished don’t get bored. Occasionally I make tutorials to sell - not that I want to become a millionaire, but to recoup some of the expenses that I incur for not just the cost of my paper supplies but the cameras and lighting. The original Make a Splash tutorial just happened to be such a project. I don’t do many- that one took 5 weeks to develop because I had to get it right since I charged for it. It is listed on my Project39 Mini Albums Etsy site. But I’m happy to tell you that I have many other tutorials that are completely free on my channel. I did have several other Graphic 45 albums free tutorials on my KZfaq- and look for a playlist also.

Hi! I used 87 lb weight cardstock for this album. It is Artisan Linen Cardstock from Country Craft Creations, whom I design for. I also might use 65 lb cardstock for my albums, I didn’t use it on this one. Thanks for asking, I’ll be sure to mention it in upcoming videos.

Hi Sandy! Thank you! When unable to get the patterns and solids, you can use some coordinating solids cardstock from your stash. If you have some all over stamps you can maybe stamp some tone on tone color to give it a slight texture. (This gives me an idea for a video, I’ll try to get it out in the next few weeks-I’m traveling at the moment!)

This one of my favorite sizes. Sometimes I make it 6.5 x 6.5 because I have lots of 6x6 paper. Also 6.5 x 8.5 for 6x8 paper. Thanks for your video.

I think my favorite size ( when using 6x6 paper) is actually 7x7. I like having room for tabs when I make hidden pocket pages. And the pages could be 6 1/8 x 6 1/8. But there are so many options!
